Disputes, questions linger 3 weeks after Election Day

The American Left Wing will not let go of their conspiracy theories about Ohio. Some lunatic business professor still is trying to explain why the exit polls favoring Kerry in the early part of the day were so far wrong. Well even a busted clock is right twice a day. Warren Mitofsky, the pollster who did the Election Day exit polls for the consortsium of MSM organizations has a simple and good explanation. More Republicans than Democrats refused to talk to his pollsters after they voted because they were wearing MSM badges. The Left will do anything they can to make life miserable for Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell because he is a Republican African-American who was Bush-Cheney co-chair in Ohio. Democrats had judges and poll watchers in every precinct in Ohio and they know the Bush victory was fair and square. Its time for federal judges to throw out these frivolous law suits for being totally without merit. This is an abuse of the federal judiciary.

Doesn't early voting and the huge numbers of absentee voters explain any discrepancie with exit polls, seeing exit polls only gauge those who vote ON Election Day? I don't see why this seems so strange to them. Republicans have always been good at getting people to vote absentee.

According to Media Watch, Walter Cronkite is still saying that Karl Rove orchestrated the bin Laden tape on Friday before the election. Some people think Walter has slipped into the slow lane due to advancing years. I say he was always there. The media loved to call Cronkite once upon a time as the "most trusted man in America." Ha. Trusted by whom? He was always far left and most conservatives knew it for the last forty years.

It is so much easier to fake nonaudited exit polls to influence voter motivation and turnout than it is to fake audited, regulated precinct ballot counts.

So obviously (to the Left) it was the ballots that were faked, not the exit polls- after all, the exit polls were run by the US media corporations.

Very good points. In addition, the exit polls were much closer at 5 PM than they were at 1 PM. The samples were skewed to Democratic voters earlier in the day and also weighted to precincts that were older and urban.

Along with the factors you sighted, is the massive turnout in 'red areas'. The exit polling wasn't done thoroughly in the 'woods'. In the two stoplight town in VA where I live the turnout was at record levels. When I voted a poll worker told me that the morning turnout was coming in the "hundreds per hour"(in a town with population of 3000). Our county had 75% turnout, Bush beat Skerry by 65 - 35. I don't think the exit polls were seeing voters in areas like where I live.

Shortly after the election I read a poster at FR say that Rush Limbaugh had been telling his listeners to lie to the exit pollsters.

Like him or not he has 20,000,000listeners.

Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama, Jesse Jackson, and even Terry McCauliff have all come out and said Bush won "fair and square." Yet these wack jobs out there will grasp to any straw they can and refuse to let go. If John Kerry was serious in his concession speech about trying to heal the divide in this country he needs to come out and say "I lost. I conceded. It's over. Let's start thinking abuot the future." But he won't.
