I saw the exchange on Fox news...Peter Jennings, in my opinion, was not confrontational with Clinton. He said to Bill, "Oh yes you do...oh yes you do care Mr. President..."

The attitude was one of identifying with his 'pain', not one of confrontation. I don't think people should read any more into it than that...

I got my start here on FR during the Lewinsky crisis. Didn't really follow politics and didn't really know much about Clinton. His phony PR had been so good to that point that millions like me were suckered. It was from that point onwards that I minutely analysed everything, and concluded, with the help of so many FR friends, how truly bad this man was. Therefore, I really appreciated watching Jennings take it so Clinton the other night. I had been sucked into the PR vortex of thinking Bill Clinton couldn't be as bad as I had earlier concluded and maybe I was too harsh in my prior assessments.
Not so. When Jennings called his bluff the others night, I saw his eyes squint up, barely containing his rage, and I realized this jerk is evil incarnate and the sooner he and his more evil wife are out of my life, the better.
They are both the definition of phonyness. I promised myself I will never for a moment get sucked in by this subhuman again.

"And, yes, I failed once. And I sure paid for it. And I'm sorry. "

And this proves that Clinton has not learned anything since he left office. He did not fail just once. The lies continue.

They just played this on MSNBC. I had ALMOST forgotten how much I detested Clinton ... but this brought it all back. He could have deflected the question easily ... but he got sucked in. He is as hideous as I remember.

Dear Mr. Clinton,

None of this stuff you're bellyaching about would have come to pass if you'd kept your two inches of puppy terror in your trousers and bothered to tell the truth when confronted.

Bottom line: it's not our fault you don't like getting caught. Stop being such a jackoff and you won't have to worry about a thing.

Sincerely,

Joe American

Moral fiber? Only a Democrat would consider failing to admit guilt as moral.

Clinton was anathema in my book throughout his presidency. In the last four years, though, I let myself simmer down. Watching the Clinton-Jennings interchange, though, the can of worms was hacked open once more. Bubba's slitlike eyes and transparent narcissism set my creep-o-meter clanging so loudly it was about to pop a sprocket. This guy truly is Satanic. Thank the Almighty for George W. Bush.

There is something sub-human about Bill Cinton and his wife Hillary. They are the living personification of the Devil!!! The Clinton library is going nowhere fast. At its best, it will attain only mediocre attendance!!!

Good point. I'm not sure I agree but it is a point I hadn't considered.

What I felt coming off of Clinton was rage and anger and I was suprised when Jennings failed to put his tail between his legs and cower. I don't think he was being confrontational but I'm not sure he was try to show empathy either.

Maybe he sees the writing on the wall and feels compelled to appeal to the red states?

Hope this clip makes Newswatch.

Clinton damns himself everytime he opens his big mouth. He's a narcissistic sociopath. ME ME ME 24/7. It would be funny if we hadn't endured eight years of this. Now we have the war on terror and Hill about to start her march to oblivion(run for the WH). Clinton is the gift that keeps on giving.

I got my start here on FR during the Lewinsky crisis.

I also got started during that time, lurking for a long time before finally lisiing.

I was thinking this week about the positive effect that FR has had in my life.

Back in August of 1988, a new voice came on the radio, the lovable little fuzzball - el Rushbo. Prior to then, I avoided politics and editorials, because I thought I was alone in my views. I voted conservatively and privately. Then Rush gave a voice to conservative thought.

Along came FreeRepublic, and overnight a tranformation. What this forum has done is provide a loud voice and evidence that liberal thought is not mid-stream America. The MSM has become unimportant in my life.

Freepers have a valid world-view and time continues to show that their world-view is held by many. Can you say Red State?

I agree. Clinton took his 'affable good 'ol boy' mask off during that rant. He's been wearing that mask all his life. He's really stone cold crazy, unable to connect with other people, feels no empathy. Nothing exists except his own desires, and he's been faking it ever since he learned to talk. In a parallel universe he ended up in jail or dead at an early age.

It sounded as if Jennings was trying to schmooze Clinton and it didn't work because he forgot what Clinton really is. The Left knows full well that Clinton's a sociopath, but they don't care because he meant 8 years of anything goes, and it did. If Clinton were a republican, the NYTimes, et. al. would have had him committed or tarred and feathered long ago.
