LINCOLN BEDROOM FOUND IN CLINTON LIBRARY Historic Room Moved Piece by Piece to Arkansas Visitors who turned out to see Bill Clintons presidential library on its opening day were stunned to find that the Lincoln Bedroom had been moved piece by piece from the White House to the Little Rock, Arkansas shrine.
Beaming with pride, the former president revealed that he and his wife dismantled the Lincoln Bedroom shortly before leaving the White House in January of 2001, placing the pieces in suitcases with the intention of reassembling the historic room in Mr. Clintons presidential library.
While admission to the Clinton library is seven dollars, tourists will be allowed to spend a night in the newly reconstituted Lincoln Bedroom for an additional ten thousand dollars, Mr. Clinton said.
In Little Rock for the opening ceremony, a visibly angry President Bush demanded that the Clintons return the historic bedroom to its rightful place at once.
But in a press conference in Washington, reporters grilled White House spokesman Scott McClellan about why the administration had not noticed that the bedroom was missing in the first place.
Come on, guys, Mr. McClellan pleaded. Were having a hard enough time trying to find bin Laden.
Controversy aside, the opening day of the Clinton library was a big hit with visitors, many of whom enjoyed the educational exhibits, including one that explores what the meaning of the word is is.
In addition to the former presidents papers and memorabilia, the library contains over eighty million objects, many of them sperm.
Elsewhere, a U.S. military spokesman said that fighting this week spread from Fallujah to Mosul to the Vibe music awards in Santa Monica.
lol
i'm surprised he doesn't have Lincoln himself propped over in the corner with a speaker behind him announcing "Bill Clinton never worked so hard as to bring peoples together again in the face of the VastRightWingConspiracy!"
lol!
great piece to start this dreary morning.
Do they have a wax figure of Markie Post jumping on the bed?
In a related note, local pawn shops in Little Rock have been inundated with silverware with the seal of the POTUS engraved on them, as well as numerous objets d'art donated to the clinton Administration from 1993-2000. All items came from a mysterious pants-suited woman who insisted that her name really was Hillary!
IS this a joke? That property belongs to us! Clintons should not own that, as it is historic period piece furniture that is part and parcel of the White House.
This is an outrage!
I think this is a spoof.
Markie Post and Linda Bloodworth- jumping on the bed in the Lincoln Bedroom......
Just DON'T buy a cigar in the Gift Shop, you KNOW where it's been.
What exactly is "is"?
Uh..I think this a joke..
I feel physically sick every time I see that picture. Those cretins have no respect for priceless antiquities.
No argument from me- I honestly get sick of posting the old garbage associated with the Clintons & friends 8-year insult to America, but I worry that too many people have never seen it, or have forgotten already.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Those two liberal losers, jumping on a national treasure tells me all I ever want to hear about that Drawer Dropping, lying ,Busterd and The Thing he's married to!!!!
Is it true that there is also a display of "W" keys from genuine White House keyboards? I think it's near the display of White House china and funiture.
LOL too funny.

They should install showers outside the library...just incase you want to "clean up" after your visit.....
I actaully believed this was an actual news article for about 90 seconds.
"Do they have a wax figure of Markie Post jumping on the bed?"
