CONGRATS TO AUBURN! WAR EAGLE!

ALL THE WAY TO THE NATIONAL TITLE!

Although I think we all know that the SEC Title Game is the biggest game of the year.

Bama played tough...they have nothing to be ashamed of.
And they will be real good next year.

Always good to know that there is another exciting Iron Bowl in the Future.

Hope y'all are having a good weekend.

You were a trooper and I appreciated your updates. Just hearing the words "Toomer's Corner" sure brought back memories to this Auburn grad. Thanks again and have a lovely evening.

Your Tide was, once again, a valiant opponent. It was a tough game and I did not relax until the last whistle. Y'all played a good game.

The tag-line is one of my favorite songs. I have known the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior for 31 years! He is KING!!!
All hail to Him!!!!

God bless you, Lowoil!
You are a pleasure to talk with. May you and AU go to the top in all you do! AU is our last game!
Thanks for a neat game-night. Sorry my team lost....but someone had to. ;-)

God bless our whole State!!! We are blessed!!!

Without a doubt, Lady, Alabama is THE state in which to live. Do you know our state song? It really expresses my feelings toward this wonderful place.

I am not sure Auburn will drop. AU/AL is *the* rivalry, and the fact Bama dominated the first half was not that surprising, given the unpredictability of the rivalry. Bama is also better than it looks on paper.

For us: not playing one half out of an entire season is not so bad. Then again, Auburn's offense makeover and resulting perfect season has surprised both the coaches and the press. Since we are a dark horse candidate anyway, it will not surprise me if we cannot convert our magical season into an Orange Bowl bid in the end. It will not, however, mean we do not deserve it. What a year it has been (though it would not have meant much at all if we had not won today, of course :->).

As my Daddy would say as a life-time Auburn fan... War Damn Eagle Use to have a brunch for 20 of his best friends before the Auburn vs. Alabama games ~ 10 in the dining room with everything red/white and 10 in the family room with orange/blue everything. To say the least, it was quite drunk out before they even got to the game at Legion Field...those were the good ole days for me too...

I didn't until you mentioned it.

Alabama by Julia S. Tutwiler

You can find it and listen to it here:

And yes we have a wonderful State!
I love my home and it also is also my birth State.
Along with my husband, children and grandchildren.

Thus ends the 2004 Iron Bowl with a score of 21-13. The game was close enough for the AP fellows to drop Auburn out of it's tie with OU (at second) and leave Auburn at a distant 3rd.

If Auburn wants an Orange Bowl birth, they will have to do better in the SEC championship game vs. Tennessee (whom Auburn has already beaten once this year).

Dadgum good game!

Guess I'm going to get my head sheered this coming weekend. I did not get off for the game nor did I have time over Thanksgiving. This will be my first weekend home with family since the Iron Bowl. As for It, it was a nailbiter down to the wire, as all Iron Bowls should be.

I'm the Tide fan in my family... the only white sheep to be had. *LoL* BUT... I do love Auburn as well. I have gone to more Auburn games than my siblings (Lowoil & sister), car parked them, even held Tiger during a game! I was a pledge of Alpha Phi Omega (Student BX guys) and relished each and every game. I just root for Alabama one day more each year than I root for Auburn.

Granted, I wanted Alabama to win and win big. BUT I -needed- Auburn to win because of the BCS standings. I want ANY SEC team to be #1 or #2 so that when the SEC wins that title game, there will be NO doubt that the SEC is #1!!!

Oh, now to prepare for my sheering. Junior, I've let my hair grow so you can have the fun with your clippers. Make it a good one... else when Alabama does come back on top, you're going to look like Don King. ;-) Love ya, Bro.
