This was discussion on another thread as to who would get Time's prestigious Man of the Year award. It was suggested that John O'Neill should. It just seems unlikely that this will come to fruition. So who needs Time, anyhoo? Freeper tazannie suggested that we have our own "Man of the Year" awards and Jim gave his blessing to let the nominations begin!
I suggested that the winner be the guest of honor at the Freeper Ball. Wouldn't that be a blast?
BUCKHEAD !!!
I was thinking Zell Miller, but the more I considered it...
I'll vote O'Neil and the Swifties. They went above and beyond.
Of course Kerry credits Osama. Still gettin' it wrong...spitball boy.
Buckhead!
The "Marlboro Man" and everyone else that is putting/ has put his/her life on the line for us. Lest we forget!
buckhead for sure!
I've reconsidered, now I'm favoring:
1. Mel Gibson
2. Swiftboat Vets
3. Zell Miller
Can't go wrong with any of those picks, IMO.
John O'Neill
It's gotta be buckhead. And we need to make sure that this is firmly shoved into the snouts of the MSM, since they are stampeding to give credit to virtually any other obscure blog site - just so they won't have to acknowledge the rapidly coalescing power of Free Republic. Viva Republica Libre!!
Buckhead with out question
Buckhead, of course!
To paraphrase the Virginian, "I wanna see ya smile when ya talk like that, pardner."
BUCKHEAD
"The Angry White Man from Jesusland"
Pat Tillman for bravery, honesty, patriotism, integrity.
If you give him pajamas make sure the pants have Dan Rather's face on the butt. :)
I guess I choose Interesting Times.
Even though up till now I knew nothing of him it seems he contributed the most and got the most work done.
Book research
Website
Sounds thoroughly devoted to exposing the truth. Yes Buckhead and others exposed the truth about fake documents but that sounds fairly simple opposed to everything Interesting Times had to dig around to uncover.
