Actually, we have to start treating the Old Media as from foreign countries, i.e., Old Europe.

What a lot of people don't get is that there is so much more to it than religion. I'm not a particularly religious person, but I see my values reflected in the republican party and scorned by democrats. Gee, I wonder which way I'm going to vote.

The wife uttered a loud gasp when we saw and heard that.
I guess we have to start treating liberal reporters like they were French, in other words, treat them like the shiite they are.

Two words, Mr. Matthews: Sexual nihilism.
In there you will find the root of nearly all moral evils, especially since the 1960's.

Matthews is from Philadelphia which along with Pittsburgh is blue. Every other county in Pennsylvania is red.

Anyone have any contact info on this guy. I would love to e-mail my thoughts on the direction of this great nation.

You didn't watch too carefully, or perhaps you interpreted Chris Matthews words as you did because he hurt your feelings in the past. What Matthews was doing in the statement you quoted is called Making an Mdmission. He was admitting that the New York-Washington media was not in touch with big parts of America; thus, the liberal media now has no choice but to cover fly-over country as if they were foreign correspondents.
When an opponent offers that kind of admission, then take it and quit yer bitching for a moment.

"Maybe we have to start covering 'America' as a separate beat...like our foreign correspondents".
Actually I agree with him. The MSM and those they represent are in a completely different culture than us. They have different values and different heroes. Sad thing is that if they were reporting on a foreign country they would be more respectful of the culture and the "natives."

Can ya believe these imbeciles? They will be even more leftist in the next election cycle, and we will once again clean their clocks in mid-term elections. I hope these idiots never get it!

Not a bad idea, as long as the red states get to accredit their journalists and issue them visas.
Prissy Matthews need not apply.

"Maybe we have to start covering 'America' as a separate beat...like our foreign correspondents" Maybe we have to start treating the MSM reporters as foreign agents, agents of a hostile power, enemy agents.
Maybe we need to start treating them as the enemy spies and saboteurs that they are.
And you know what the Geneva Convention says you can do to spys and saboteurs in time of war.
Chris Matthews last words: "I regret that I have but one life to give for my show's ratings."

We lived for a while in the San Francisco Bay area. I remember remarking to my wife, "These people dress like us and speak English just as we do--even using the same idioms. But it's as if they live in an entirely different country." It's true. They're aliens.

Chris Mathews was interviewing Senator elect Thune over the phone and was aghast at Thune mentioning he was going pheasant hunting! wanted to know if he killed the birds and ate them.

'WE' are the majority....it is time to start using our majority weight and pressure to confront the Media , and especially all networks , both cable and standard , to get rid of people like Rather and Matthews who subliminally (and not so) salt their reporter and commentator duties with left-Liberal
values and spin. In so doing they attack 'we' the majority
on a daily basis.
I've had it with this stuff. It is time to FIGHT BACK !
Never a better time than here and now. Flood them with indignant e-mail and hard copy . How dare they continue to force this crap in our face? Threaten and institute boycotts.
Make it hurt. Let's make it real and take this great victory
as an opportunity to force media reform. It is time to kick these people right off their soapboxes , once and for all.

In line with that, when are true Americans living in Kommiefornia going to get our own state? We need to split Cal into two: Kal and Cal. Let the commies have the coast, all the way to LA.
I'm tired of all our electoral votes automatically going to the filth that contaminates this great state!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matthews is irrelevant. I deprogrammed MSNBC from my dish after watching Ron Jr. before the election. Never again.
To Olbermann: You don't get it, do you? Dan Patrick was the talent on the ESPN team, bud, not you. How many channels have you worked for now?
