UNFINISHED BUSINESS...(Rathergate, etc.)...
03 Nov 2004 | Airborne Longhorn

With all the justified giddiness over Dubya's re-election, we nevertheless need to keep pressure on the unfinished business surrounding issues that dusted up during the campaign, such as...

Juan-a-be Williams says that this is evidence that the election was rigged

Everyone with half a brain knows that if there was no vote fraud, Bush would have won by another 2 million votes and probably carried at least two additional states.

Let's agree with his wacky theory and take the RATs to task to do something substantive to prevent "rigged" elections in the future.

"The Vietnam Vets deserve closure."

I do not agree.

Until Kerry apologizes to all Vietnam veterans for what he did with the VVA, Jane Fonda and his betrayal of fellow veterans then there will be NO closure!

freedumb, this is worth a general ping.

I suggest celebrating for a day, sleeping for a few days, and then getting back to the salt mines - we do have a lot of unfinished business outstanding.

Thank you for posting this and you are absolutely 100% correct on this. I can assure you that had you or I joe-average American had behaved similarily on the handling of classifed docs, we'd be playing cards in Ft. Leavenworth.

Investigation sorely needed into CBSNYTAP for what they did this election season.

I personally believe lawsuits are in order. They tried to throw an election. Again and again.

RE: Bergergate. John Deutsch paid no consequences for his little classified snafu, why do you think Berger will? To paraphrase Leona Helmsley, "Rules are for the little people."

I STRONGLY disagree.
Kerry needs to be whacked HARD!
Those idiots who voted for him NEED to see the error of their ways. They need to know what they ignorantly tried to do to this country. They NEED to know the truth! We all need to donate to the Swiftvets today and let them keep hammering.

Absolutely we cannot forget any of the items on your list. To it I would add illegal aliens and securing our borders.

I don't have any expectation that any of this will be resolved. After all, this is the country that did not remove an impeached President and still publicly honors him and his equally mendacious wife. I saw only two positive outcomes.
1.) Swift vets and Viet Nam veterans generally have settled a score

2.) The MSM has taken a hit right along with Kerry and though they will never moderate their tone, have lost any remaining credibility they could have claimed. Now they rank with entertainers to whom they so shamelessly pandered during the impeachment proceedings and the campaigns which followed.

Now that the election is over, we should examine these abuses very objectively and without the white hot light of partisan politics.
Then we need to NAIL these folks!

We need to go after Rather and vote fraud.

The legacy media did literally everything they could this cycle to rig the election

CBS is done...unless they deal with Rather... Vote fraud must be dealt with in the harshed terms...but step one is uniform identification of the voter. Imagine the increased print circulation if the giants would face reality.....they would rather go out of business and blame the opposition for all the jobs lost.

A stake should be driven through the heart of that Frankenstein reincarnation of the VNS exit pollster.

And I'm completely through with Matt Drudge. He was complicit with a Dim dirty trick to spread bogus exit polls to suppress the conservative turn out just to increase hits to his site. I've had it.

Can't let the media get away with what they did during the election. They need to be held accountable. They are not journalists.
