Kerry has the moslem vote
This may be one of the most bizarre things about this election....Kerry getting a large majority of both the Muslim and Jewish vote. And on top of that he supports abortion. The contradictions are staggering.
Amen.
If Ohio and Penn are supposed to be such important swing states, it's good that they're both in the eastern time zone, so we'll know early. Florida gets done an hour later. We may know early in the evening whether we're in good shape, or if it's a nail-biter. Nothing to do until those states come in.
I remember when Clinton managed to stay in office. I couldn't understand how that could happen. Then Gore lost, and we had President Bush when 9/11 happened. If Gore had been an incumbent president, he probably would have won, and that would have been a disaster when the terrorists hit.
So, I am trying to remain calm. It is very hard, because I do not want to be disappointed in my countrymen.
I am drinking Coors Light, however. That seems to help.
That's a GREAT site...thanks!
Thank you Jim....and crew....
Thank you for 'FR'....

I was a Vietnam veteran and war hero.
I lost the election to become the first communist elected president of the USA.

Georgia (15 EV's) in RED on the FoxNews Website map . . . have they called it on TV?
I went to work for awhile today...and the lady in the store adjacent to ours was outside...asked me if I had a radio...etc...wanted to know about voter fraud in Philly etc. Anyway....she said something like.." Well, I hope this isn't another Florida" I said.."No...it won't be. Early night. Bush wins big" I left. She is a mean old woman, but I suspect this will be my last speaking encounter. LOL
There is no good day to stop drinking. I did it fifteen years ago last Monday.
I have lost a lot of sleep lately too.
I'm hearing on the local radio (philly) those numbers released earlier were been pushing by the Kerry Camp .. also remember the AP is in charge of collecting information and giving it out
I'm also hearing the counties out side of Philly and the upper part of PA have big voter turn out
Chris Wallace is a joke--leader of the leftification of Fox. Is it just me, or is Fox becoming as unwatchable as CNN? Theirs was a short, unbalanced 15 minutes.
Nope, it varies by state. Some states (KY, IN) close as early as 6:00 pm local time. Others stay open until 7:00 or 8:00.
You have to factor timezones into account too. One of the biggest reasons that Florida turned out the way it did in 2000 was that the networks called the state for Gore while the polls were still open in the Panhandle, which is on Central time--the polls statewide close at 7:00 pm LOCAL time. Thousands of Bush voters in the Panhandle heard the networks call the state for Gore, gave up and went home. Supposedly the networks are saying they're going to be more careful about doing that again...but I doubt it.

Carville coming up on CNN...Novak on now
AOL member exit poll?
Yeh, sure sure.....
Indiana and Kentucky polls both close at 6 pm local time. Since both states straddle 2 time zones (Eastern and Central), the western portions of the state have their polls open an hour longer (and I presume have their polls open an hour later) than those in the eastern portions of the state.
