Two 'highlights' from Elizabeth Edwards' just-completed interview on the Larry King show:

1. in describing the need to bring the country back together after the election, she expressed the fear W would be incapable of doing it, because he engaged in "character assassination" during the campaign; and

2. asked what her priorities would be if her husband and Kerry are elected, she mentioned her desire to be an advocate for military families, saying they haven't been fairly treated, and that military families hesitate to criticize W for fear of "recriminations by the Commander-in-Chief."

1) The Dim-Libs have done nothing but character assassination against W and the VP. Sen. Teddy ('hic') Kennedy and his accusations of "lie after lie after lie after lie" crap. The list doesn't stop.

2) Our President has done nothing but support our troops. There hasn't been such an advocate of the fine men & women in uniform since Reagan.

Kerry/Edwards have insulted our allies, denigrated our troops, insulted our sensibilities, insulted our intelligence, and fed into the class warfare.

Someone ought to tell this stupid cow that CONGRESS has made it a crime for any member of the military to speak "contemptuously" of the commander-in-chief, the vice president, any member of Congress, or any cabinet official. While members of the military can criticize members of those groups, they must be very careful about what they say and how they say it.

Were here husband a member of our armed forces, he would have committed a crime by calling President Bush a "liar" without being able to clearly demonstrate the clear truth of his statement.

Someone should also tell her to go on a diet and send the calories she saves to a food bank. She ought to be able to save three or four starving people somewhere.
