Now I understand what Zogby has been trying to accomplish with his wild swings in his tracking polls. You'll notice that according to Zogby, Kerry has miraculously closed the gap in the numerous "blue" states that he was in danger of losing. He then claims a "tie" in Florida (contrary to Quinnipiac, Rasmussen, Survey USA, and Strategic Vision) so he can claim that a narrow Kerry win is what will give Kerry the Presidency. In the past week it is as if Zogby has been writing a script. New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Iowa are extremely likely to go Bush, yet Zogby claims otherwise. Does he even take himself seriously?

This is the first poll I've seen in a while that gives NM to Kerry and I don't believe it.

Wow, way to go out on a limb Zogby and pick the states about the exact same way they turned out in 2000. I can't wait for him to be totally discredited. Bush wins all the states he did in 2000 + MI, WI, IA, and PA.

Didn't he have Kerry leading Florida at one point early last week?

Zogby, by far, has been the most favorable poll for Kerry. Yet, Bush seemingly is in great shape in Ohio and tied in Florida. Not even Zogby can declare Kerry with an electoral advantage, but, Rasmussen, Mason-Dixon and Strategic Vison all
give Bush an edge. Bush's position is stronger than Kerry's going in.

Gosh if we could just cherrypick from the different pollsters the state polls we like, W would win 44 states and FReepers like pissant would be happy and drunk!!

Zogs is absolutely COMICAL to watch at this point. His day-to-day Florida swings are a thing to behold. If there is anyone who takes him seriously after all this, I'll wonder about that person's sanity.

I forget, how bad did Zogby miss the state votes for US Senate two years ago?

Out of 17 calls, he got 5 right. That's how bad.

Almost all of the state's that Kerry has a "lead" were in Bush's hand's by a mile earlier just last week. Some have swung back and forth by margins of 3-5 points each direction. He's adding 11 more herbs and spices to his sauce.

exactly! - you can correct me if I'm wrong, but his state polls back up his claim of a kerry win. Even if Bush gets Florida and Ohio - Zogby takes away NH and NM as well as all the others and leaves Bush short in the electoral college.

I believe is Bush loses NH even if he wins florida and Ohio he needs one of the other middle west states?

Zogby, by far, has been the most favorable poll for Kerry.

ARG's been running a pretty close second.

Yes, Zogby had Bush up +9 in NM only 2 days ago. Now Kerry is up 3? Don't think so.....

You're right I forgot about the role NH would play in a so called "Kerry Victory". And since according to Zogby's dream world Bush would be all out of midwestern states Kerry would win just as the wise Zogby predicted months ago. Oh man is he high?!

Zogby must be getting his numbers from the pages of the Koran!

Lets hope he falls from grace after the election when his polls show how wrong he was. LOL

Although I just checked RCP and they have bush at 227 projected which means if he wins Florida and Ohio he has enough.

So Bush does not need NH or NM to win if he takes Fl, OH?

Is the electoral college configured differently in 2000? Some states have more value? I'm missing something.
