OBSERVATIONS FROM THE BUSH RALLY IN OHIO ON THURSDAY
10-29-04 | Paved Paradise

I attended the big Bush rally, held yesterday in Westlake, Ohio. I've heard numbers tossed about from 18 to 25 thousand people. My take is it had to be closer to 25, maybe even more. One of the nicest observations I made was that there were many, many young voters - 30 and younger. From what the media keeps saying, all the younger people are going to vote Kerry. It sure didn't look like it from what I could see. Another observation I made (no surprise) was that there were droves of Christian people (Catholics and Evangelicals) and lots and lots of homeschooled kids and their parents. I think the fact that Bush is capturing the Homeschooler vote is very telling.

All in all, Bush looked well! He looked robust, as did Senator Dole and Tommy Franks. I was about 30 feet from the President. It was one of the most exhilarating experiences I've ever had! Everyone, remember to PRAY for George!

Yesterday, I just happened to be in Columbus at the same time FN John and oldies rocker Springsteen were spreading their manure at Ohio State.
The clown shoes were relying on last minute radio/TV air time to advertise the ticket giveaways for their 'Traitors Tour 2004' show.
I flew out before the stench was in full effect so don't know how it ended.
Anyone have a final head count for this joke?

Some of the locals were "Ooooh, we're so special! We're sooooo impotant! We're a SWING STATE!!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH."

Did anyone listen to Hannity on radio yesterday at the end of the show when he interviewed the 19-year-old girl with her dad? She had already sent in an absentee vote for Kerry - when asked, she could not name one single thing Kerry has done or even a reason she voted for him.

I heard that. Wow, it was pathetic. She claimed Bush was bad for the environment, but when asked how, all she could say was, "Um, clear air, what's it called, Koto?" Her father was so embarrassed by her stupidity! How hard is it to educate oneself as to the issues, whether you're 19 or 49? Unfortunately, the vast majority of Kerry supporters are similarly ignorant of the facts. Feeeelings, nothing more than feeeeelings .... the themesong of the left.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! The majority of the boomers are not liberals or hippies!!! I am tired of hearing all you young kids gang up on boomers. You sound just like the dam liberals who blame President Bush for everything under the sun.

The greatest generation is much more liberal then the boomers. The boomers have given you the greatest weapon the world has ever seen to battle the liberal MSM with. We have given you the internet. The boomers can take credit for that and ending the cold war if they are to be blamed for everything else wrong.

Most of the boomers became the best parents they could be in a society that has changed more then any in history. We were taxed to death by the liberal gov.org so mom and dad had to work to make ends meet and provide for their children. Granted they could have gotten by with less but they were doing what they thought was best.

And dont forget the boomers are responsible for breaking the stranglehole the dam dems had on congress and the senate for 40+ years. We did that in 92. If it wasnt for the MSM and Ross Perot we would not have elected hillarys husband.

Not only all that but we were not the only ones voting and making and spending money in this time in history. We had a lot of help from the greatest generation. Gen X,Y,Z and gen to come would be wise to stop blaming and start changing the world with the greatest weapon ever. The internet has broken the stranglehold of the MSM. Use it wisely!!!

It is now radical to vote Republican. The ponytailed. bearded professors can't understand it!

That's one of the reasons I started being a republican in the 90's! It's so predictable and conformist to be a young democrat. In fact, a number of people, when they found out I was one, were surprised, saying I didn't "look" like a republican. Back then I was into goth, dressed in black a lot . . . one time a man even had the ball$ to approach me and ask if I was a Satan worshipper!

I am 31 as well. I have been married 12 years and have 3 children. We are both Conservative Republicans. I agree with all of you! As soon as the hippie generation (aka our parents generation)and the hippie wannabees are gone, life will be better. For one example Racism will diminish considerably.

The children of the 30 somethings are a different breed as well. While we are teaching them tolerance we are also teaching them to treat other as you would like to be treated. While we are doing this though we are teaching them to recognize right from wrong. That the world is black and white not shades of gray like the MSM (Main Stream Media)is telling them. I am tired of television executives undermining my parenting. We need to stand up a little more often and tell them NO MORE. We have a louder voice that we think we have. I have been a post reader until today. This is my first reply. I step down off the my soap box.

My mom is a very active 80 yr old. She's voting for Bush, but a lot of her friends are voting Kerry. You should hear some of the things they say. They definitely believe they are the entitled generation. People who are younger than 30 and vote for Kerry are just agreeing to keep subsidizing greedy senior citizens.

Your mom sounds like my Mom. She lives in Chicago and all her friends are dumbocrats. It drives her crazy, she is 82 and in great shape and sharp as a tack mentally. She calls me all the time to vent, says she has no one else to talk to.
