The first documentary evidence that Vietnamese communists were directly steering John Kerry's antiwar group Vietnam Veterans Against the War has been discovered in a U.S. archive, according to a researcher who spoke with WorldNetDaily.
One freshly unearthed document, captured by the U.S. from Vietnamese communists in 1971, indicates the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese delegations to the Paris peace talks that year were used as the communications link to direct the activities of Kerry and other antiwar activists who attended.
Kerry insists he attended the talks only because he happened to be in France on his honeymoon and maintains he met with both sides. But previously revealed records indicate the future senator made two, and possibly three, trips to Paris to meet with Vietcong leader Madame Binh then promote her plan's demand for U.S. surrender.

That's what I was thinking too!

VC commie
"Kerry Cong"
Should be tomorrows headline.
There was definite coordination between the timing of military developments and the antiwar protests. I noticed that whenever the US would step up bombing, Hanoi would step up the protests to put pressure on Nixon to call it off.
There is also information that in the FBI files that VVAW leaders met with Soviet KGB agents inside the US!
They also gathered intell and provided it to the Communists.

So... why isn't the media discussing this at all today???
Exactly why I'm so frustrated today. This story seals the election for W. It trumps all the Iraq flip-flops, the Purple Hearts flap, all of sKerry's comments on being soft on terror, his liberal record...everything. The FBI letters that have been found are a powderkeg ready to explode inside the sKerry camp.
But instead of being on offense, we now have to listen to a new sKerry ad that continues to lie about the missing explosives. Most everyone on here already knows that the NYTimes story is completely false as the weapons were already missing when US soldiers arrived at the site. But the mindless undecideds who won't closely follow the story will believe the garbage that sKerry is spewing.
This is a golden opportunity to let the American people know who sKerry really is. All I've got to say is that if this bombshell comes out after the election, I'll be super pissed.
At the same time, Al Hubbard maintained contact with the PCPJ and other groups. After Dewey Canyon III the Washington DC branch of the VVAW and the PCPJ continued to share office space, and the PCPJ and VVAW continued to co-organize demonstrations into at least 1972. PCPJ literature from this period listed Hubbard on the PCPJ Coordinating Committee, where he sat alongside Jarvis Tyner, the Communist Partys 1972 Vice-Presidential candidate, and Gil Green, a high-ranking member of the New York CP. The PCPJ and War Resisters League cosponsored an August 1971 trip to Hanoi by Joe Urgo, whom Hubbard was training to assist his leadership of the VVAW. Hubbard and Urgo joined the Anti-Imperialists Coalition in pushing for the VVAW to become an armed revolutionary organization.
>> the problem is, for about 1/3 to 1/2 of all americans, Communism is just fine as a way of life for the 'little people'<<
I doubt it. Perhaps many old hippies aka Baby Boomers feel that way but the generation after really isn't enlightened enough to know that liberalism = communism and may still have the idea communism is bad. Older folks definitely have no fondness for Communists. This would hit Kerry very hard with a wide segment of the population because not even all Baby Boomers were 1) hippies or 2) communists.
I wonder if there is coordination between Kerry and his group and our current enemies, maybe using back channels?
>> We need to subject everything to the same standards as the Rathergate documents. <<
We need to do no such thing. This is not us against CBS and the people coming up with this info are not Dan Rather or other MSM cretins.
Let the pro's do the checking and stop with all the naysaying until we know exactly what's what tomorrow.
>>There was a post here earlier today from that it was most likely and LESS than honorable discharge. TO have gotten an dishonorable discharge it would involve a court martial.<<
Agreed on the Less Than Honorable Discharge except for one point. According to my husband who is an Army Veteran, court martials can be conducted in relative secrecy and kept secret. It may not be the routine but it is possible.

From "Unfit for Command" Chapter 7
Quote:
On July 1, 1971, within days of Lo Duc Thos arrival, Madame Binh advanced a new seven-point proposal to end the war. Central to this plan was a cleverly crafted provision offering to set a date for the return of U.S. POWs in exchange for the Americans setting a date for complete, unilateral military withdrawal from Vietnam. In other words, America could have its POWs back only if we agreed that we lost, then surrendered, and then set a date to leave.
About one year earlier, two young Americans had also come to Paris, presumably for their honeymoon: John Kerry, a young, cleanshaven Navy war veteran, accompanied by his new wife, the former Julia Thorne, who could trace her lineage back to George Washington. But honeymooning was not John Kerrys only reason for traveling to Paris. Kerrys presidential campaign has now acknowledged that he talked privately with a leading Communist representative there.
End Quote
In the final analysis the FBI knew EXACTLY when Kerry and his first heiress were in Paris so it doesn't matter whether it was their honeymoon or not.
"I wonder if there is coordination between Kerry and his group and our current enemies, maybe using back channels?"
No doubt. To track that down in addition to the VVAW people Kerry's campaign is linked to I'd look into links between the Kerry campaign, leading Democrat anti-Bush partisans, the antiwar/anti-intelligence movement, and the liberal media through people like Ted Kennedy, Chris Dodd, Tom Harkin, the Progressive Caucus in Congress, Ramsey Clark, Morton Halperin, Anthony Lake, Sandy Berger, Joseph Wilson, Walter Pincus, Richard Leiby, Barton Gellman, etc., and of course George Soros.
