Zogby still shows it tied. I was hoping for a 1 or 2 point uptick for Bush since one weekend day has rolled off. Wonder were it will be when Sunday rolls off?....

You increasingly desperate DemiCRATS keep clinging to the fluke that Zogby had in 2000, which like I said, even a broken down clock is right twice everyday.

You: on the forum for 18 days
ClintonBeGone: on the forum for six years

You'd be better served to sit back and observe instead of acting like a nitwit, KwasiOwusu.

Fox was closer than Zogby in 2000, as was CBS and Harris.

Remember Zogby is an Arab sympathizer so he has a stake in shaping American politics.

The point is, Zogby has not been right on since 96. CBS and Harris have their own problems, but the idea that Zogby is the gold-standard is ludicrous.

Zogby was dead-on accurate in 2000. Few others pollsters were even in the neighborhood, yet he predicted the election nearly perfectly.

"How can you say that when it came to predicting the 'winner' of the popular vote, he predicted Gore with 48% and that's what he got" Yes, yes. We heard that one a million times already. But he got everything else wrong in that 2000 elections, including under counting what percentage of votes Bush was going to get, and who was going win the electoral college, which President Bush duly won even after Al Gore had cheated massively by counting "dimpled" and "pregnant" chads in only Democratic Party controlled counties that he had cherry picked for recounts. Shame on you DemicRATS!

Fox was dead on in 2000 with a 48-48 tie. They even had Nader almost dead on. Zogby was off by 2 for Bush and Nader.

"Zogby was dead-on accurate in 2000. Few others pollsters were even in the neighborhood, yet he predicted the election nearly perfectly" Wrong again. He was wrong on what votes Bush was going to get by 2%. He only got Al Gores votes right. Plus, as has been pointed out over a 100 times to to you two clowns from DUnderground, Harris and CBS did much better in predicting the 2000 polls than Zogby did. Get it?

The numbers do not lie. Though you might prefer to ignore the facts, that won't make them go away. Zog was 2pts off. CBS & Harris were closer, In this universe being wrong means that you are not in fact 'dead on'. You can play pretend all you like, but you are just fooling yourself.

I'm only going by what the professionals say about Zogby. If you consider that many of the 'popular votes' were rigged for Gore, it might be worse.

You know, the Clintons sort of created a monster by polling and taking focus group analysis and etc. Maybe we on the Right should avoid attributing such great power and influence to the pollsters...?

Unless they favor our side considerably and make us feel good, I mean.

Beats me. But I have a problem when I see posters with two-week-old accounts accusing longtime members of being Democrat plants. Show the other poster the error in their argument, if you can. But the ad hominems are a nonstarter, particularly coming from recently-joined posters.

I never stated it was a guarantee. What I stated is that I have a problem with new posters who appears incapable of anything other than ad hominem attacks.

Nice strawman, though.
