I'd say NJ before PA the way things look now.

Here is the latest from President Elect.org...as of 10/12:
Bush 288 - Kerry 250
They have IA, PA, and ME going to Kerry. All else same as yours.
These may be the vote tallies, but the issue will be how many states the RATS file law suits in and/or pull some kind of shenanigans. Not if...just how many.

I have maintained for months now that whoever wins 2 out of 3 of FL, OH, and PA will win the election. I think it looks good for W. in FL and OH right now, but I don't give him much of a chance in PA.
Of course, if NJ is truly in play that changes everything.
No way Bush wins CA. That's a pipe dream.

It's my understanding that the party in power is represented by blue, the challenger in red.

The NRA endorsement of Bush last night should change a few numbers imo in Iowa...where guns are important.

Prayers that your mom is right! The state has been moving slightly right, mostly b/c of the recall ... and the fact that 60% or so who voted in the 2003 gov. election voted for someone with an (R) next to their name.

Well. When Jeff Head speaks, there is nothing left to be said. ;-)
Looks good to me. Though I think Minnesota might float to Bush, too.

I sure hope you are correct about the two vote fraud capitols, Ohio and Florida!
I believe I speak for all my fellow PA FReepers when I say I'm deeply insulted at your exclusion of the Keystone State.
NOBODY does fraud like Pennsylvania, specifically, Philadelphia. Be it threatening the minority inspector with a gun at the polling place, black homeless men showing up with a carton of Newports tucked under their arm to vote under the name "Ida Tartaglione", or divisions reporting a result of 298 D votes vs 1 R vote, Ohio and Florida can't carry our jock when it comes to voter fraud.

I have great faith that the Maine patriotic spirit will hold and make it a Bush win...much as Chamberlain held little round top.

I am sorry to say that I believe IL would have gone kerry in any case...but would love to be proven wrong. We're within shouting distance on the Prez vote...but Keyes is doing his damndest to make sure Bush tanks. A slightly more competent campaign without the usual cloud of grifters who seem to attach themselves to certain candidates (such as Keyes) would've helped.
BTW, "seagull campaigning" is when a candidate flies in, makes a lot of noise, craps all over everything and everybody, and flies out :o)

It used to be the Republicans were marked in Blue and the Democrats in Red. When did that change?
Anyway, I'm gladdened by your optimism. Even so, I'm still stocking up on food, water and ammunition. Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst.
