You have to wonder how the gays will react to Kerry. This is a lousy cheap shot. He used her for political purposes. Can it be possible for them to walk from demonrats. They have to see they are just being used like the blacks and other minorities.

Actually Rudy is a "moderately liberal Republican" a la Rockefeller (who, like Rudy, was good on Law & Order issues) or Weld. Bloomberg actually is a Democrat who merely took the GOP label when the Jackass Party wouldn't let him buy their endorsement.

National debt versus the budget deficit - totally different animals. The national debt has been steadily growing since who knows when. In terms of percentage of GDP it is high but certainly not the highest it has ever been and not particularly high compared to many other developed countries.

Do you think Barone thought the high point of the debate was Kerry getting a laugh when he said something about marrying up and he perhaps did better than anyone in that regard (words to that effect)?
Because if Barone thought KErry's words about the last question were the high point, he's nuts.
