Jay Severin: John Kerry murdered Bush tonight.
His analysis is that these debates are like the Reagan election where Reagan became well known to the electorate and had escaped the opinions of others, and the public came to like Reagan.
This election is probably over.
Bush had a 10 point lead two weeks ago and all the momentum is now going to Kerry. That is a political fact.
Never mind how you want this to turn out. Be objective about how it is going to turn out.
I am solidly a Bush guy who has sent hundreds of dollars to the Bush campaign this year. Including $100 dollars today.
It's over. Face it. The polls are moving toward Kerry and apparently the undecideds are going with Kerry.

Who has no problem with partial birth abortions but is against the death penalty. And who has blanket accused our military nam vets of being war criminals and who NOW wants to be CIC over ALL our military. Won't hold that against you. I like chowdah. We have a lot of it around here too Not quite the same the west coasters put bacon in it and stuff, but they used to make the real thing and when I can find it It's my top choice.
Kerry and Kennedy and their "idears" are not.

Kondrake said it was a low blow, took both Edwards and Kerry to task for bring up Cheneys daughter, which he said was done to try to make Bush-Cheney look bad in the eyes of conservatives. I don't think that is true but it was still right of Mort to take them to task for a cheap shot.
