Germany and Adolph Hitler didn't have WMDs
Saddam Hussein had weapons more lethal and destructive than anything Hitler had.
So do the industrialized countries.
The difference being that some leaders are evil and/or insane.
Thus, they can't be trusted no matter what weapons they own.
Evil leaders are weapons of mass destruction.
Ever since terrorists flew jet planes into the World Trade Towers and the Pentagon terrorists have been recognized as WMDs.
It's only fitting that evil leaders be labeled as weapons of mass destruction.
To the main stream media: spin your wheels proclaiming that Hussein isn't evil.
Germany certainly did have WMDs, both chemical and biological. They intentionally chose not to use them because they didn't want to deal with WMD retaliation.
Even in WWI the use of gas was prevalent.
They even had a vigorous nuclear research program. They simply lost the race...as much as anything because they murdered some of their best people in concentration camps and forced the others to run into exile.
Problem is you're completely wrong.
Nazi Germany invented nerve gas, including Sarin. They had ENORMOUS stockpiles of nerve agent, over 12,000 tons of it. Which, interestingly, they never used militarily.
(Incidentally the Allies had huge stockpiles of chemical weapons in Europe as well,, which they never used either, but an American ship carrying mustard gas that was bombed by the Luftwaffe in an Italian port ended up killing 69 people.)
Ah, but Hitler DID use WMD during the war - on civilians. In particular, an agent known as Zyklon B was used to gas countless millions of civilians in places such as Auschwitz.
Since Kerry is a "man of compassion," you'd think he would have worried about the starving children there who were being given rotten food.
Then again, maybe Kerry thought the Iraqi children could be nourished with Supplefer if Saddam stayed in power longer.
Adolph Hitler had no WMDs, it was all a war for oil, and a bunch of neo-cons used FDR as their puppet (c8
Wasn't it Imperial Germany that invented nerve gas during WW1 ?
Seems so. I did a google search on mustard gas and found it was of WWI German origin. It was also used by Saddam against the Kurds. While mustard gas is not a modern nerve gas WMD it was a precursor to those developed in WWII.
Since this is a vanity post I suggest you research your thoughts before posting such inaccuracies. We FReepers don't need the reputation of being ill informed conservatives.
If we could have goaded Saddam into attacking France first, we wouldn't be having all these arguments. ;)
Strategerist: Problem is you're completely wrong.

No need to research my thoughts. I knew full well what I was saying. I intentionally left it up to the reader to think about what was written -- including my comment at 1

I'm not a conservative. I stand on my own and by what I write.. If you want to be judged by the words of collective conservatives that's your business.

Completely wrong?
BTW, I assumed, considering the gas chambers, it was obvious that Hitler's Germany had WMDs
"Temptation overcame resistance." -- Thanks for playing.
That's about it.
It has also been reported on the History Channel that in the last months of WW2 that Nazi Germany was shipping radioactive material to Japan. The Japanese were planning a "dirty bomb" strike against a US city on the west coast, likely San Francisco, in September 1945. One u-boat (destined for Japan) was captured in May 1945 by the US Navy off the American east coast with the radioactive material on board.

LOL!!
Kerry would be unbearably sanctimonious. Not that he's not already.
Thanks. I knew Germany had an atomic bomb program but didn't know
they were enabling Japan.
So you're not a conservative? I guess that's good.
They had blister, choking, and vomiting agents. The standard delivery system they had for chemical weaposn delivery was the 105mm mortar but it also could be delivered with artillery shells, morters, mines, rockets, sprayers, and smoke generators.
They fielded various decontamination vehicles built out of halftracks (Sd Kfz 10 & 11) and trucks (Kfz 92 & 93).
Also, all WWII German soldiers carried gask masks with them. They were carried in those cylindrical metal cases, usually attached to their backs.
Hitler ordered the German military into Romania to take the oil fields there. Does that count?
Let me guess, you lose at poker.
So you're not a conservative? I guess that's good.
It's very good. I stand by my own and not to be judged under a collective banner.
