Problem is you're completely wrong.

Nazi Germany invented nerve gas, including Sarin. They had ENORMOUS stockpiles of nerve agent, over 12,000 tons of it. Which, interestingly, they never used militarily.

(Incidentally the Allies had huge stockpiles of chemical weapons in Europe as well,, which they never used either, but an American ship carrying mustard gas that was bombed by the Luftwaffe in an Italian port ended up killing 69 people.)

Wasn't it Imperial Germany that invented nerve gas during WW1 ?

Seems so. I did a google search on mustard gas and found it was of WWI German origin. It was also used by Saddam against the Kurds. While mustard gas is not a modern nerve gas WMD it was a precursor to those developed in WWII.
Since this is a vanity post I suggest you research your thoughts before posting such inaccuracies. We FReepers don't need the reputation of being ill informed conservatives.

Thanks for your opening sentence.

Strategerist: Problem is you're completely wrong.

No need to research my thoughts. I knew full well what I was saying. I intentionally left it up to the reader to think about what was written -- including my comment at 1

I'm not a conservative. I stand on my own and by what I write.. If you want to be judged by the words of collective conservatives that's your business.

"Saddam Hussein had weapons more lethal and destructive than anything Hitler had.

"So do the industrialized countries.

"The difference being that some leaders are evil and/or insane.

"Thus, they can't be trusted no matter what weapons they own.

"It's only fitting that evil leaders be labeled as weapons of mass destruction.

"To the main stream media: spin your wheels proclaiming that Hussein isn't evil."

Completely wrong?

BTW, I assumed, considering the gas chambers,  it was obvious that Hitler's Germany had WMDs

"Temptation overcame resistance." -- Thanks for playing.
