This new, poignant Swift Boat ad, begins airing tomorrow. HUMAN EVENTS has obtained the 60-second ad that features brief comments by the wives of former Vietnam-era POWs, expressing their feelings about Kerry’s questionable post-war activities. According to sources near the Swift Boat organization, $1.4 million will be spent to get this most recent message out. The ad will appear nationally on cable, and on broadcast TV in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Nevada.
TRANSCRIPT, "Never Forget"
Mary Jane McManus: Three months after we were married, my husband was shot down over Hanoi.Phyllis Galanti: Paul and I were married in 1963. Two years later he was shot down over North Vietnam.
MCMANUS: All of the prisoners of war in North Vietnam were tortured in order to obtain confessions of atrocities.
Galanti: On the other hand, John Kerry came home and accused all Vietnam veterans of unspeakable horrors.
McManus: John Kerry gave aide and comfort to the enemy by advocating their negotiating points to our government.
Galanti: Why is it relevant? Because John Kerry is asking us to trust him.
McManus: I will never forget John Kerry?s testimony. If we couldn?t trust John Kerry then, how could we possibly trust him now?

In my opinion, the "Medals" ad is the best one.
It shows Kerry's fluttering eyes, and waffling answers to Congress.
Just replaying that cut is enough to make you gag.

This is a powerful message from the women who were also victimized by Kerry's antiwar ambitions.
The gratitude I feel toward the Swifties for their service to our country then and their continued service with these ads is immeasurable.

You are correct. I think We need to be truly polling 11% or greater (Bush 52% Kerry 41% Nader 7%) to win by 1% after the fraud vote is counted. This happened in Ohio in 2000: We went in 10% up, won by 3.4%. The Demons have redoubled the fraud effort this time, but we have also increased GOTV and registration, but the net effect will still be 10% net gain on fraud for the Dims.
They could have done better with one or two more wives. Four wives may have have been a good solid number to show the "massiveness" of the outrage in the ranks of such a group of Americans.
On the other hand, maybe with the ping pong between the two of them as they have it, is just as effective and less confusing.
I think this will really appeal to the breadbasket of American, the place of real American values. The "small town" as John Edwards is fond of playing before his campaign rallies.
Actually, you know, these ads keep getting better and better.
