what does this mean for Bush? 58 percent say they want major changes, compared with only 9 percent who say they want his second term to look a lot like his first term.

Well tell us what kind of changes you want to see. Right now you smell like a troll. Prove you are not.

What do you make of the Bush +5.6 at http://realclearpolitics.com/bush_vs_kerry.html ?
Listen, learn from the comments, provide useful and intersting new information forother readers. You'll get the hang of it.
Treasure the time that the other users have invested in reading your posts and comments, and make sure their time more valuable.
(But don't ever, never, ever, never misspel something, or the spelling gnats will jump your case.....Jim, of course, will merely giggle.)
He revealed his hand in post 13 me thinks
CO 52-44, AZ 54-43, VA 53-42 - all Bush
your stay here in Free Republic should last as long as john kerry's position on any one issue. Bye Bye!!
See http://www.realclearpolitics.com
Right now things are looking good for Bush, but we must always fight hard as Iraq, terrorism or the economy could always change again.
LOL. I never mispel anything.
Kerry is nothing but a DRONE.
Thank you
I have only been watching a few days since I saw mention of site on news - became member today
I will wait and read more before posting again
Do I want change from the first term?
Absolutely. Bush needs to throw out 3/4 of the RNC, and 90% of his weak-kneed advisors, and all of the supposed repubbie Senate toads.
Is that how the poll was intended though?
Probably not.
Should be: NBC poll: Bush holds narrow lead
Secondary title:
Many voters don't believe Kerry has a clear message
In addition, here's the first paragraph:
WASHINGTON - Less than six weeks before Election Day, the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows President Bush with a lead over Democratic challenger John Kerry but it's within the margin of error, and it's much smaller than some other recent post-GOP convention polls indicate.
So, just so you know, it's clear to everyone here that you were in such a lather to post that you didn't bother with the posting guidelines, newbie.
In addition, your source was inaccurate. You've got NBC/WSJ as the source poll, when in fact the article clearly says that it was Hart/MacInturff.
In addition, you didn't bother with the author's name. FYI, it's Mark Murray.
I say you're a troll.
It means the only poll that counts is on election day and all the rest of this bologna is only the major media trying it's best to rally support for their boy. And it aint gonna happen. Their boy's run his boat aground.
Bush by a landslide. Go Bush!!
Tony
Have pun. 8<)
you are correct -
I was hoping to hear exactly that from tjholland so I could lay off. Considering it's an pmsnbc poll you can be assured that the intent of the poll was to plant seeds of doubt. The irony I believe is that msnbc thinks they are taken seriously :)
I wasn't. And it was a vanity, too. But it wasn't so ambiguous.
