Cool.
Now I realize that within this new alternative media there exists some jealosy,. I sense that some people dont want to give the blogosphere the full credit. They have to parcel it out because every body wants a piece of the action; this is quite normal, this is human nature. The fact of the matter is that it was the blogosphere and it was a couple of sites: Powerline and FreeRepublic. And FreeRepublic has been one of the most impugned blogs / websites in the history of websites by the very institution that has been brought down.
When Dan Rather talked about partisan political operatives, he means those who lurk at FreeRepublic. Who is FreeRepublic, its ordinary Americans liberals look down at ordinary Americans, dont know have enough decision making power, [?] do the right thing, not smart enough
You dont know how much it grates on them at CBS that its something like FreeRepublic or one of their chat rooms or one of the FReepers there or the Powerline you have no idea that it irritates them that that kind of person brought them down. An average, ordinary untrained journalist that you just do not know how this irritates them inside. More than the fact that they got caught, its who caught them that irritates them.
And, so just as I started out I was a fad, and I was a liar, and I made it up and I was bad for America and I posed threats to democracy, as the cover of Time said. So now the same things are being said about the bloggers. Fox news has had its turn and we all continue rotating in the criticism carousel of the left.
We need to push the idea of Sean Hannity having Buckhead on his program and soon.
"The site is creeping like a decrepit turtle right now."

Sure am glad to know it's not my computer. I couldn't figure out what was wrong.
Yup. Mentioned Free Republic and freepers 5-6 times in consecutive sentences. It was quite a compliment. And rightfully so.
[William Shatner voice] Must... keep... posting... despite.. expected... FR server... overload... [/William Shatner voice]
[cue Star Trek "suspense music"]
Cboldt... "sigh" I think you're right. It will get real slow around here, but we could be a real educational tool for a lot of "fence sitters!"
Already slowing up for me. LOL
Stll, it's worth it. He mentioned how it's natural other organizations want to take credit for this, but two sites in particular broke this. FreeRepublic being one.
TankerKC, Buckhead, and Howlin thank you again for your role.
Rush, thanks for giving props to the people here that had been taking hits from the MSM for years.
Only been on this board a short while but the people here deserve every bit of the praise he just gave.
For those that missed tune in at 850 KOA in Denver.
LOL! Love the tagline!
thanks for the plug from an ordinary American, Rush!!
Want to thank any/all who uncovered CBS fraud. Would like to shake your hand. Great going
Above-average Americans in charge of their lives are normal. The Democrats just don't want you to understand that since their platform depends on everyone being a moron and a victim.
He said sites such as FreeRepublic are one of the most impuned sites by major media!
Rush was using that style only he can do...that certain controlled passion with a deadly hint of absolute sarcasm and disgust leveled at the CBS network's pushing a false materials.
He brought in the mention of FreeRepublic quietly, and as his talk continued about just WHO caught and brought this effort to take down a President to light, began to emphasize the people at Free Republic more and more.
He said they see us nobody's, ie the pajama brigade (my words) but that FreeRepublic is NOT full on uninformed nobodys...but of concerned and capable American citizens.
He said WHAT CBS HATES is who was able to bring them down...that he went thru this himself as he started out, and that FreeRepublic and bloggers are now undergoing the same sarcasm, dissing (my owrds) etc. now.
It was Rush...doing this thing for America....and you cannot know how much I credit this good man for his dedication to the truth and his absolute cartload of common sense, always couched in dead on humor.
I love him.
Ahh, I remember that story.
I thought Rush said Time had done a story on bloggers like they had done on him.
I guess I misunderstood him.
Rush and his staff are on FR a lot. I don't think he replies but he gets a lot of his ideas from FR posters. He also gets the attitudes of conservatives of many of the articles posted. He always says people are emailing him or he has discussed things with friends and then he says something that parrots what another Freeper said.
A lot of talk radio hosts go straight to FR for their material. FR has been very instrumental in fighting big media and winning.
FReepers, brace yourselves for an onslaught of newbie posts and vanities. But let's be nice at the same time we have our troll radars tuned...
Only thing is, this will mean more newbies posting one-line vanities under "news" with the words "Did you see that?" and nothing else. ;-)
We are all Buckhead.
All your Buckhead are belong to us.
To the ramparts, Pajamahadeen!
Daschle and the DU'ers are deeply saddened.
