Rush was using that style only he can do...that certain controlled passion with a deadly hint of absolute sarcasm and disgust leveled at the CBS network's pushing a false materials.
He brought in the mention of FreeRepublic quietly, and as his talk continued about just WHO caught and brought this effort to take down a President to light, began to emphasize the people at Free Republic more and more.
He said they see us nobody's, ie the pajama brigade (my words) but that FreeRepublic is NOT full on uninformed nobodys...but of concerned and capable American citizens.
He said WHAT CBS HATES is who was able to bring them down...that he went thru this himself as he started out, and that FreeRepublic and bloggers are now undergoing the same sarcasm, dissing (my owrds) etc. now.
It was Rush...doing this thing for America....and you cannot know how much I credit this good man for his dedication to the truth and his absolute cartload of common sense, always couched in dead on humor.
I love him.
What you said!!! BTTT!!!
Well put. All through the dark dark years of the 90s, there was Rush, with his optimism, his humor, his good will.
There was no other place to turn but Rush. There was no Fox News till the later 90s, there was no Freerepublic. There was literally only Rush.
Sometimes I think many would have lost hope if not for him. I know I would have. He was the voice of conservatism for many years, when no one else had a microphone to get the message out. This country owes a lot to him.
