The Next President Might Appoint Half Of The Supreme Court - What Kind of Court Will it Be?
Grassboots.Org (One of those Nasty 527s) ^

This flyer would be a good one to pass out to conservative Christians that might not be inclined to vote, either from apathy or overconfidence. This could be distributed in church parking lots on Wednesday nights (you should probably get permission). We will adding a web page for this flyer shortly. Any Suggestions? Anybody have any stories to tell about your experience passing our our flyers?

"What kind of court could it be?"

If you're truly concerned about the make-up of the Supreme Court, work to defeat 'Rat candidates for the U.S. Senate. The President only nominates the judges, but it's the Senate who confirms them for the bench. And right now, Senate 'Rats are filibustering ten highly-qualified judicial nominees for the federal bench.

If we want a high-quality Supreme Court, we need to have John Thune, Richard Burr, Tom Coburn, Peter Coors, Mel Martinez, David Vitter, Jim DeMint, George Nethercutt, and Bill Jones voting on their confirmation.

The word "MORAL" comes to mind...One of the primary intentions of the founders.

For this reason alone John Kerry must not be elected President. If he is, our country is doomed.

What Kind of Court Will it Be?

Hopefully, the kind that doesn't consider EU law when making decisions on US Constitutional matters.

Hopefully the kind that doesn't try to socially engineer racial programs for certain generational periods.

Hopefully, the kind that understands that political free speech is the reason for Amendment 1 in the Bill of Rights, and would never have OK'ed McCain-Fiengold.

Hopefully the kind that remembers there is a 2nd Amendment in the BOR.

I agree about the need for voting in conservative (non-Arlen Specter types)Republican Senators. If anybody would like I can redo the flyer for your state's US Senate Race. That is our long term goal anyway.

"What kind of court could it be?"

Given the lack of testicles the GOP had this past 4 years and not being able to appoint several key judges (Pickering comes to mind as well as the black female and the hispanic gentleman), I would say the court will be made of of whoever the democrats want.....

I'm not giving up. There is too much at stake. Lord Willing, starting in 2006 (or sooner if the occasion arises) Grassboots.Org will work to prevent another Toomey-Type defeat. Senate races are no longer just in the interest of states - We must be willing to cross state lines to help (not vote!) but certainly campaign and distribute literature such as we are making available. It was the Toomey loss and the liberal GOP Greg Ganske win in 1994 that has inspired our group.

"What kind of court could it be?"

Boys and girls, meet the REAL reason the Hildabeast is not going to come in a save the Dimwit party in 2004.

It's a win/win for her:

1. Kerry wins in 2004 - The Hildabeast is nominated to the Supreme Court (her true ambition)

2. Kerry loses in 2004 - The Hildabeast runs and gets the 2008 Dimwit nomination for President, which is her second choice

Forget all you've heard about Boy Clinton wanting the Supreme Court, VP, yada, yada. He's done with politics. Making money in speaking fees and getting a little on the side is what he's after right now. Extending his political career would hinder both.

I remember when Gore alleged that this President was going to appoint 5 Supreme Court justices. So far, none.
