I have watched the Yankees raise 6 World Championship flags in my lifetime. I'd love to see more, but I would settle for that with the assurance that the Red Sox never EVER win a World Series.

The Yankees haven't won a World Series since the morons of New York elected Hildabeast. Looks like you have your own curse brewing...

You must be a pup :)
Yogi Berra has more World Series rings (10) than the Red Sox have as a team since they were created.

Has anybody ever noticed when J. F. Kerry announced on midnight after Bush's speech at the Republican Convention that there is good news.
Good news he said, that the red Sox are now only two and a half games behind.
Kerry couldn't even get that one right, but none of the designated Kerry fans noticed.
The Sox were actually three and one half games behind.

As a life long Red Sox fan who never misses a pitch, I can't argue with NY history. However, all great teams must fall and the Red Sox are about to stick a fork into NY. I predicted after the Yankees lost to Arizona that they will not see another World Series Title for at least 25 years. I still strongly believe that, but we will soon see a Red Sox championship in the near future.
