Its seems odd that country proclaiming a commitment to Freedom supports the closure of the only real free press in most of the middle east - Al Jazeera. Even Alister Campbell aplogist for the UK governement and a supporter of muting the TV station during the invasion of Iraq now agrees how important the station is to free speech.
So all of you neo-cons with your spin on Freedom for the Iraqi people how about letting them watch what ever TV station they wish to switch on. And let Al Jazeera report from Iraqi what has an emerging democracy ocuupied by freedom loving democracies got to fear from free sppech

Judging from your poorly-written post, I would guess that you are not the brightest bulb in the package!

A friend of mine recently returned from Iraq saying that Al Jezeera often made it to the scene of dead American Soldiers before the Americans did. He went on to say that it is common knowledge amongst our troops that Al Jezeera is the mouthpiece for and insrument of the insurgency. I don't know if this is all true or not but he was there I haven't been

To all denizens of Free Republic who joined before today.
Meet Mr. Ridley.
Mr. Ridley, meet everyone.
That being written, let me be the first to apologize for the boorish behavior and postings of some "freepers". Let me assure you that this does not reflect the majority of the views here. Let me further say that we are currently "redoubling" our efforts to ensure a smooth and civil transition for new members.
That being written.
GET THE F*&^ off this site you lousy twit!
To all denizens of Free Republic who joined before today.
Say bye bye to Mr. Ridley!
Stand down from Code Zot!

Its seems odd that country proclaiming a commitment to Freedom Do not capitalize "freedom."
supports the closure of the only real free press in most of the middle east
Do capitalize "Middle East."
- Al Jazeera.
al Jazeera.
Even Alister Campbell aplogist
apologist
for the UK governement and a supporter of muting the TV station during the invasion of Iraq now agrees how important the station is to free speech.
Logical fallacy called "appeal to authority." You do not support your own argument, but rather appeal to the opinion of one you consider an authority.
So all of you neo-cons with your spin on Freedom
Again, it's lower-case "freedom."
for the Iraqi people how about letting them watch what ever TV station they wish to switch on.
You actually managed to create a run-on sentence fragment. Read that again in its entirety.
So all of you neo-cons with your spin on Freedom for the Iraqi people how about letting them watch what ever TV station they wish to switch on.
See? Makes no sense as written.
And let Al Jazeera report from Iraqi
You mean "Iraq."
what has an emerging democracy ocuupied
"Occupied."
by freedom loving democracies
"freedom-loving democracies" - you hyphenate compound modifiers.
got to fear from free sppech
You mean "speech." And you should end questions with a question mark.

I'm afraid we might lose the right to "free sppech" (as you so elegantly put it) if morons such as yourself ever had enough sense to put together a winning political movement. Fortunately, that's not in the cards.
