Just remember, after the non-bounce from the Democrat convention all the MSM bozos were selling us the story that since almost everyone had already made up their mind, there wouldn't be a bounce to be had. Ha! How conve-e-e-enient. Sorta' suggests, again, that the MSM is slanted to support the left if at all possible.

Torie, did you ever find any evidence to support those Philly claims?

No, and I looked at every precinct, high Dem percent precincts, high black percent precincts, and found no particular pattern of vote turnout. Some black precincts had very low turnouts, a few quite high. There was only one precinct over 100% (around 101% I think), and I assume that was a data entry error. There very probably only 10 precincts over 90% turnout in the entire city. The whole thing is total BS, unless there is fraud in the registration rolls. The continual whimpering on the forum about Dem vote fraud is really not supported by the evidence in any material way, and is pathetic.

C-span had his 2000 acceptance speech last night....wish I had recorder on at the time! He gave a powerful speech in 2000 and one of his lines was "...if you give me a mandate, I will use it..."

LET'S GIVE OUR PRESIDENT A MANDATE!

I haven't seen anybody suggest this. It needs to be done with gusto. It needs to be physical. It needs to be professional. It needs to cost some Moola. It needs to have somebody with more brainpower than me.

IT NEEDS TO BE DONE.

You make some good points but I think the tide is turning in the Republican's favor.

More people get their info from the internetand good cable than ever before, therefore the Dems are losing their grip.

If they are going against a landslide, I think they are, they will stay home.

Kerry has shot his wad and is now cracking up, the slide will continue.

Name one thing that could take votes from Bush.

The Clintons can not even campaign for him now.

The Swifties started it and the landslide will gain speed, Bush will bury Kerry. It is over.

Hee Hee!

I think what people need to understand is that the Bush campaign has changed the terms of the debate. It's much easier said than done - but they have done it. This campaign was abouot the economy, but now it is about national security. Kerry is playing catchup now, and he has to catch up on national security, and he can't because Bush has hung that $87 billion vote around his neck like a noose. Once the debate is framed at the conventions, it doesn't change. The question now is not whether Bush is going to win, but by how much and how many Senators will he bring in with him!

If these numbers are accurate, then Kerry is down to all but the ideological liberals (minus Nader supporters) - he lost the conservative Dems and independants.

An interesting note here in Iowa. The latest poll I saw regarding Grassley was that he is up by 80%. Hopefully, this means he will be using his huge war chest to help other Republicans.

No one would even know we have a senate contest here by listening to the media. I have not seen or heard one commercial.

I respect your great posts and political accuracy so much that I hate to disagree with you, but. . .on the issue of evidence of voter fraud, aren't you forgetting South Dakota in 2002? Thune was ahead and was winning until one Native American county "found" an overwhelming amount of Johnson votes. That was AFTER there was actual proof of fraudulent registration of dead people.

Ambulance-chaser Edwards looks to be unemployed come January.

The ABSOLUTE BEST OF ALL WORLDS would be if Kerry were unemployed as well. Sickening to think that this commie creep would still be sitting in the Senate after this dispicably horrid campaign he's running; and the trash that's spewed out of his mouth. He does not DESERVE to be a U.S. Senator (...but then...Massachusetts gets what it deserves by voting for this guy in the first place.)

All [DUers] saying...Kerry will come out on top during the debates.

Yikes. They're setting themselves up for a painful fall.

Think the coattails are now key. OK Senate race had been toss-up but now Dr. Tom Coburn has a double digit lead. Kerry being on the Dem ticket has help Dr. Tom because OK is so pro-Bush -- Kerry came in 3rd here among the Dems.

Only Kerry/Edwards signs I see are in rental property yards all owned by the same guy here in Norman.

OMG! No wonder Susan Estrich is hysterical and SKerry came out at midnight!

Will be interesting to see/hear sissy-Crissy Matthews take on this. He's as liberal (and arrogant) as they come...BUT he likes to be aboard a winning team's bandwagon...he won't be totally but I predict his tune will have changed...no more of this "in your face," crude/rude/over-the-top disrespectful behavior...we shall see.

We should agree with them. Set F'n up for a major fall when comes across as a prissy snob in the actual debate.

Perhaps the "angel of disease" (kinda like the angel of death) touched the wrong person yesterday - instead of 'Toon, it should have been sKerry.
