Hee Hee!

I think what people need to understand is that the Bush campaign has changed the terms of the debate. It's much easier said than done - but they have done it. This campaign was abouot the economy, but now it is about national security. Kerry is playing catchup now, and he has to catch up on national security, and he can't because Bush has hung that $87 billion vote around his neck like a noose. Once the debate is framed at the conventions, it doesn't change. The question now is not whether Bush is going to win, but by how much and how many Senators will he bring in with him!

An interesting note here in Iowa. The latest poll I saw regarding Grassley was that he is up by 80%. Hopefully, this means he will be using his huge war chest to help other Republicans.

No one would even know we have a senate contest here by listening to the media. I have not seen or heard one commercial.

Think the coattails are now key. OK Senate race had been toss-up but now Dr. Tom Coburn has a double digit lead. Kerry being on the Dem ticket has help Dr. Tom because OK is so pro-Bush -- Kerry came in 3rd here among the Dems.

Only Kerry/Edwards signs I see are in rental property yards all owned by the same guy here in Norman.
