Besides, this is an answer to my prayer of the past several months. As I mentioned on the Prayer Thread, I've been praying for the last several months that somehow, with the bent of the mainstream media that TRUTH would get out. Yup - - I prayed for truth.....no matter the consequences....to Kerry or Edwards, or Bush or Cheney......(believe me, I love this president and support him immensely).

I see the swifties as a humble but effective answer to that prayer - - and just like David and Goliath of old, the swifties are kicking the giant's butt......

I don't believe Bush has any connection to this at all. There is a lot more evidence tying Saddam to al Qaeda than there is tying Bush to the Swift Boat Veterans.

The Kerry's and Fonda's of the world are in force today.

While I fully support the 1st amendment

I wonder why there is such an effort to shut Vietnam Vets who speak against Kerry.

Even certain FReepers want "the Vietnam issue" dropped
because they fear a backlash to President Bush.

Well I AM going to exercise MY 1st amendment right.

I'm NOT going to be silent.

The 58,000 plus Brothers and Sisters who are on the Wall
and the Brothers and Sisters who died at home of injuries and suicides
will no longer go unanswered.

And come Nov 2nd I for one, along with MANY,MANY others, will be able to say

"I honestly did what I could do to once again defend my country."

The likes of the Kerry's and Fonda's of the anti war "movement" changed the course of my own life.

Listening to some Boston area talk radio earlier.

The subject matter was that Kerry is a great closer in political campaigns. I personally do not buy that at all. When Kerry ran against Bill Weld a few years ago it was close. Well, I think Kerry should have lost, but he has a lot of local media backing. A lot of so called journalists were draft dodgers too! Weld is the Boston Globe's favorite Republican. Still they would not leave Lurch in the lurch.

Anyhow, Kerry is now facing national scrutiny which is quite different than what this Massachusetts suck up group has ever done concerning that snake. There is certainly a lot of sympathetic press for Kerry nationally but there is also a lot more scepticism and criticism as well as objectivity outside of New England.

Please do not let up in your efforts to bring this skunk down. He will be the worst thing that has ever happened to this country. Not only is he a slime, he is also not that bright (despite the BS claims, I have watched him for years, ambitious yes, brilliant no) and he would make a very malleable empty suit in our Oval Office.
