Of course Bush has to distance himself from this and stay above the fray. At the same time, he can do virtually nothing to stop them (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

I don't believe Bush has any connection to this at all. There is a lot more evidence tying Saddam to al Qaeda than there is tying Bush to the Swift Boat Veterans.
