Protester has kicked a police officer off of his scooter outside of Madison Square Garden. Officer is in critical condition.

We get a Canadian channel here in the Seattle area and last night they showed a busload of Canadians arriving in NYC yesterday for the marches. One guy about 55 said it was their duty to join in protesting Bush. I suspect after the convention we'll find out a lot of those there were foreigners.

Exactly. Brit Hume's guest on Fox News spoke earlier this evening about how one of the MSM was interviewing protestors: a couple of vets, a grandmother, and a soccer mom with a small child.

This guy watched the parade of protestors from his hotel window, and said you really had to search to find four average citizens in that crowd.

There have been a few smart ass replies from those who hae no clue what it is like to enforce the law in NYC. (Of course after seeing the swill in NYX, I do see a reason to enforce the law) Things have changed, but a few years ago the smart asses might be praying for the poor slob that did the kicking as he WILL be in worse shape than the cop.
