Hannity & Colmes: Bob Dornan shows US flag that Kerry's group burned while they flew 300 VC flags

Bob Dornan (R) and Pat Kadell (D) were just on Fox's Hannity & Colmes debating Kerry's predicament. Bob Dornan went on a savage attack, showing burned US flag and VC/Communist flags that were burned by Kerry's anti-war group in 1971. Dornan also wanted Fox to have anti-Kerry widows from the Vietnam war. Kadell was actually rational and his analysis I thought were excellent and on point. Kadell bascially said that Kerry/Democrats made a mistake making Kerry's Vietnam service the cornerstone of his campaign instead of talking about the issues.

You say John Kerry is my "idol"? Where are you getting that from? Or was that a typo?

Great post! Sums it up very nicely.

"Now it scares me to wonder how many more are luking behind the scenes!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
IMHO, I believe they are no longer lurking and that is what is so frightening. They are out in the open; the leaders; the Pied Pipers seducing the lemmings off the cliff: and so many entitlement dependent idiots are following. Other than a very few, Zell Miller included, there are no dems capable of living in reality or telling the truth. They are so encapsulated within their party speak, they are marching in lock step, unable to think for themselves. P.S. - I took a gander at your home page. You need to consider retiring down here in Xanadu. We have the weather and the conservative values you so desire. Y'all come see us sometime, "heah"! ;-0)

Bob said that Kerry was nearby, not that he burned flags. Two different things. I think we got to be careful in how we attack Kerry, so it is not too much. Otherwise, it might turn off independents.

Stongly agree!! While I was young & wasn't paying attention, a whole lot of things went right over my head. A number of years ago I saw B1 Bob on some interview show, talking about that day on the mall, talking with passion about the protesters, about the POW's & MIA's...
Shortly after the Swifty stuff started popping around here, I began to wonder where he's been. Someone should give him a soap box, cuz this issue has been pent up in him for too many years.
To: Cableguy
Nearby hell. He was one of the leaders and organizers of the group!

Here in CA, we affectionately call him "B-1 Bob" because he is such a bomb thrower. :-)

I knew when the Swifties first started telling their story, that we would get to burned flags and tortured prisoners. Next, he will be hammered as the war hero in the commie museum. Finally, he will be destroyed for good when the plot to assassinate senators is revisited. Say goodnight, John.

Pat Cadell is always logical and fair in his analysis, thats why the dems dont really use him anymore. That is my assessment also. For a dem, he is amazingly fair and balanced (as we say).

Bob was hot tonight. I wish the RNC could incorporate that burnt American flag somehow into one of their campaign commercials, like:
Clip of slack-jawed Lurch next to Hanoi Jane.
Then, clip of the ruined flag.
Voiceover:
"This is John Kerry's American Flag, turned over to his fellow travelers, to be burnt and urinated on".
Then show Bush, under a waving flag, in his aviator's suit, on that battleship.
Ending line:
"Which man is best for America?"

Kerry was one of the leaders & hundreds of the flags of our enemy were being waved proudly in the crowd that day.
To: Bombardier
We need to start the transition to the after Vietnam part. The truly indefensible acts by Kerry is his VVAW career and what was done to the vets by his actions. It is truly an abomination how these vets and there families were treated. It is likely the saddest chapter in the proud history of our country.

Attack on Kerry?
No, it is nothing more than a mounting rage welled up in Vietnam veterans over Kerry's trashing of all Vietnam veterans. Kerry has opened up old wounds with his "Reporting for duty" speech. He will regret making his "Tour of Duty" the center piece of his campaign.

Good night all...Hubby says we must...gasp (hands shaking) turn off the computer. Off! He says we must turn of the TV- no political shows this weekend:nada. I don't know if we can make it. You may find this funny,(my husband and I are both political junkies)but my seven year old had a nightmare about John Kerry last night. Her Dad got up with her. She said he was coming in the boat to get her...Her Dad said Kerry wouldn't hurt you..he doesn't even know where you live. She looked at him and said 'Dad kerry is real bad' and he's knows people!..Mommy wrote letters'! I had to explain to her that being a Democrat is not a felony..(maybe it should be) and Kerry doesn't care if I write him letters (it just makes me feel better) so no TV this weekend and no computer. LOL have a great weekend!

VVAW supported demonstration, Washington Spring Offensive, April - May 1971
Kerry was a supporter of the "People's Peace Treaty," a supposed "people's" declaration to end the war, reportedly drawn up in communist East Germany.
It included nine points, all of which were taken from Viet Cong peace proposals at the Paris peace talks as conditions for ending the war.
One of the provisions stated: "The Vietnamese pledge that as soon as the U.S. government publicly sets a date for total withdrawal [from Vietnam], they will enter discussion to secure the release of all American prisoners, including pilots captured while bombing North Vietnam."
In other words, Kerry and his VVAW advocated the communist line to withdraw all U.S. troops from Vietnam first and then negotiate with Hanoi over the release of prisoners. Had the nine points of the "People's Peace Treaty" favored by Kerry been accepted by American negotiators, the United States would have totally lost all leverage to get the communists to release any POWs captured during the war years.
Vice President Spiro T. Agnew said that Kerry, "who drew rave notices in the media for his eloquent testimony before Congress," was using material ghosted for him by a former Kennedy speech writer (Adam Walinsky).
Picture #2, VVAW supported demonstration during the Washington Spring Offensive, April - May 1971.
Notice the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong flags.
