Did bob dornan have a picture of kerry actually peeing on the trashed American flags-like some in that group did?
I think if the Swifties run John Kerry's book cover in an ad, that might be the end of his presidency, the book? The New Soldier.
The swifties will have to do something after the convention to bring it back into the news (it is already dropping from the radar since the activity on the group has dropped and pro-Kerry folks have stopped talking as well)>
They will need to blare a stunning ad after the convention to get it back in the headlines.
Has everyone heard Hannity saying he has a tape of Kerry committing a war crime?

Bob Dornan (R) and Pat Kadell (D) were just on Fox's Hannity & Colmes debating Kerry's predicament. Bob Dornan went on a savage attack, showing burned US flag and VC/Communist flags that were burned by Kerry's anti-war group in 1971. Dornan also wanted Fox to have anti-Kerry widows from the Vietnam war. Kadell was actually rational and his analysis I thought were excellent and on point. Kadell bascially said that Kerry/Democrats made a mistake making Kerry's Vietnam service the cornerstone of his campaign instead of talking about the issues.
Yeah, my basic point is that Dornan doesn't help the Swifties cause by acting like a Kerry hater. You don't see the Swift Vets acting that way on TV. John O'Neill comes across as a thoughtful, knowledgable guy who can back up what he says. Dornan doesn't come across well. Many independents/swing voters don't know who he is, don't know his background, and don't know he was in the military. They are more likely to be turned off by him then convinced by him.

And you call me a Kerry "idol" wannabe for posting this observation? Give me a break. You attack me, who has given money to the Swift Vets as well as Bush/GOP?
I was a little ticked off by "savage attack".
Calmer heads have prevailed.
It was a savage attack. He brought bunch of burnt flags. He wanted Fox to cover anti-Kerry widows. I think my adjective is accurate. Kerry deserves in my book. But I was looking at it from a neutral point of view. Both of my parents were horrified by these attacks on Kerry. Then I showed them Kerry's anti-war activities, especially those black and white photos. Then they understood. You don't get that kind of context from Dornan's attack on Kerry.
How is telling the truth about someone attacking them?
I believe allowing anti-kerry widows to tell their story is a good idea.
There are two things that the main stream media will never do:
1. Print, report, or investigate anything that will negatively affect john kerry.
2. Print, report, or investigate anything that will positively affect President Bush.
Bob knew the score when he went on the program and he did what he had to do to get his point across.
Years ago a ice hocky coach made this statement to his team" If you can't beat them in the alley, you can't beat them on the ice.

I am not the one who broke the rules by sliming me with that Kerry "idol" remark. How would you feel if I called you a Kerry butt kisser?
If you didn't make your "idol" comment, I would have acknowledged that you disagreed with my assessment, and I would have moved on. But you made this argument personal. I am over talking about this topic. Have a good one.
