Congratulations Jim Robinson. Like all great pioneers, you created a major use of a new technology. You have given a big voice to so many.... You have increased the power of ordinary citizens while reducing the power of the media elite. That is a huge accomplishment that leaves all of us in your debt.

The influence of Free Republic is not appreciated by the old media. But as the years roll on, the effect of your creation will become ever more evident to all.
