Air America hosts telling listeners to move Kerry book!.

Posted on 08/23/2004 8:51:51 AM PDT by LIBERATENJ

They are pathetic. They are telling listeners to go to bookstores and move the book "Unfit for Command" to the fiction section.

So move "My Lies" by Clinton, anything by Franken, Shrillary's book, etc. to the fiction section!

Not being a lawyer...

Since this would impact sales of books that, presumably, are from publishers from another state, this might be construed as restraint of trade in interstate commerce.

Anyone?

Every store that moves the book to the fiction section, do not buy there anymore. And let them know. Vets, check out all the book stores in your area and if you find this move to the fiction section, or no book available, talk to the manager. Voicing your opinion will mean a lot more then the CRAT s$$.

Like the Air America listener(s) have ever been in a bookstore. Can they find the fiction section? Do they know what it is?

Do they know what a book looks like???

The cat's already out of the bag; most undecided voters (all three of them) have already heard or seen the Swift Vet ads, and if they really want the book, they'll have the bookstore clerk go fetch them one.

DU is rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Iceberg 1, Kerry 0.

Air America is saying this should be done? Children have taken over the liberal radio network? These people never grow up!

Why do you think I call it Bevis and Butthead Radio?

I love your tag line. Unfortunately, I have to give up my fishing trip next summer to go up there and visit family :(

I love how democrats, when they can't win on their merit, start with the dirty tricks. This thing with the books won't work because not enough of them can read. But they will change parties trying to sabotage primaries and so they can say they are a republican voting for Kerry. Hell, I could no sooner put a D by my name than I could swim up to your neck of the woods. I'd hurl if I had to say I was a democrat. Blahhhhh. Just the thought sends me for the Listerine....

Can't. The damn thing is sold out everywhere.

A manager at a Waldenbooks told methat, based on his experience, the first print run needed to be about 2 million, which is a massive number.

In contrast, they have so many unsold copies of Bill's book they have 2 1/2 piles on the floor by the New Release display.

I must admit that while in Target I had an urge to flip the Bill Clinton book anywhere else, but didn't feel like wasting my energy on it. It was marked 30% off with a full shelf of books. My husband pointed out, "They can't give those away."

Everyone who can needs to check this out. At moment the bookstores dont' seem to have any copies for them to move. However if they are caught doing it, we should begin moving all the Bush bashing books, plus Billy Jeff's "My Lies" to the Bargin Clearance tables. Not that The Impeached One's books isn't already heavily discounted, but it is still featured very prominently.

"So move "My Lies" by Clinton,...."

I was at Costco the other day and there was Clinton's smirky smile on about 12 stacks of that book. I was tempted to turn them over but I resisted.
