On the 5th I posted an article title The Media is the Real Enemy - Watch Media Reaction to the Swift Boat Vets Story and be Convinced!. After observing what has happened since and in particular the performance typified by Crossfire and Hardball tonight, is there any question remaining that our primary activism objective needs to be defeating the media hegemony that nourishes the beast?
I've been involved in FReeper activism beginning way back with the March for Justice in '98. I now believe my energies have been nothing but shadow boxing. Every single action that we have undertaken against groups or individuals can trace their existence to an adoring dim media that creates them, props them up and then protects them from damage through propaganda, misdirection and lies.
I think it's time we redirect our efforts to the source that creates, sustains and drives liberalism.
Comments and suggestions?
Well, Fox is certainly accused of being a Republican network, even though it's not true, and the Washington Times is attacked constantly.
Can you imagine the level of attacks from the left in an overtly Republican network started up? The network wouldn't get off the ground.
We're not the problem. It's those "other people" who live out there that aren't paying attention.
Screw the media Brother!
ALL the TV and Cable networks have sold out.
I hope you added a P.S. " And Quit SPITTING"!!!
Look I know you like to stir the pot and most of the time I do to BUT take a break for 82 days and let us elect a president then you can come back a stir to your hearts content.
O'Neill is just great, he has a calming presence that seems to drive these caffeine-fueled idiots mad.
And Chrissie was pathetic, not to mention the loathsome Car-vile.
No. It is impossible. Kerry manipulated the system. After being turned down for his first PH, Kerry waited and then went through a different channel to get a PH for a scratch by showing his doctors slip from before.
My son is a graduate assistant in English now at OU (conservative as they come) and my daughter is majoring in journalism and is also conservative.
At the Tom Cole watch party in the summer 2002, J.C. Watts told my daughter that what we need are more conservative journalists and teachers and less doctors and lawyers.
You sound like J.C.
This is why I believe the Swiftes. NO ONE is that damned heroic and superhumanly lucky at the same time.
It infuriated me that Matthews kept calling O'Neill a Republican, even after O'Neill said he voted for Perot.
O'Neill supported John Edwards in the primaries!
Each party plays to their base then runs to the center for election. Move the center, move the culture.
BTW send that letter to Bill O'Riely also.

Oh I don't know about never. If I were as wealthy as Tarayza there would be a conservative network.
Chris Matthews is ruder than almost all the others, excepting Carville. I can't actually think of anyone worse than these 2, at the moment.
If I were of their ilk, I would do away with myself out of despair.
But that's just me.
SOMEONE IMPORTANT HOOK ME UP WITH SOME PEOPLE IN FREEREPLIC LAND.....I'M a disabled vet., stay at home dad, i have a

You got that right, the last election was 'stolen' from them (hehehe). I've never seen so many unified leftists in my life---"anybody but Bush" etc.
If Bush manages to pull this out, let's see: fifteen day waiting period, one-gun-a-month-----I'd better get my @ss in gear!
