The Carthaginians defending the city  were attacked by three Roman legions. The Carthaginians were proud and brave but they couldn't hold. They were massacred. Arab women stripped them of their tunics and their swords and lances. The soldiers lay naked in the sun. Two thousand years ago. I was here.

It takes a brave Troop who would dare to walk away from such ones without having at least one finger on the trigger of his weapon.

Oh, what a breathtaking scene!! With this photo, and your uplifting photos of our troops, I know I am blessed. The perfection of my life that our military fights for every single day is one that we must always honor. I am so glad to be in the arms of the security and peace our troops fight to uphold for us.

NOW THIS WOULD REALLY GET YOUR HEART THUMPING!!

Joe nearly becomes Jonah: A feeding humpback whale crashes through the ocean surface off Virginia Beach, Va., much to the surprise of 55-year-old kayaker Joe Bell. Bell furiously paddled away after the whale dived back below. "I was scared to death," he said. "I just wanted to get out of his range." Marine biologists said the whale was likely lunge-feeding on fish below.
