Joe nearly becomes Jonah: A feeding humpback whale crashes through the ocean surface off Virginia Beach, Va., much to the surprise of 55-year-old kayaker Joe Bell. Bell furiously paddled away after the whale dived back below. "I was scared to death," he said. "I just wanted to get out of his range." Marine biologists said the whale was likely lunge-feeding on fish below.
