ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1942 In a military relief game at the Polo Grounds, Pee Wee Reese's grand slam in the top of ninth, which puts the Dodgers up 5-1, doesn't count because of the 9:10 pm government curfew. The game ends up as a 1-1 tie with the Giants and, the contest will be the last war-time twilight game played. ![](http://images6.fotki.com/v87/photos/1/172187/643742/woohoo_unclesam_jrvi-th.jpg) 1873 Custer and 7th Cavalry attacked by Indians This Day in History ![](http://images6.fotki.com/v87/photos/1/172187/643742/pledgehhg-vi.jpg?1088993206) THANKS TROOPS!! ![](http://images6.fotki.com/v90/photos/1/172187/643742/pancakesthread2tth-vi.jpg?1089207192) |

IMO, using it in a tagline that way makes it appear that it's an actual Cheney quote.

Just 5 minutes ago heard the Swift boat boys commercial on Sean's show. WOW!!! Several different men spoke. Very powerful. Hope it gets to places that matter.

Great!!! Most of us here want the world to hear the truth about that man! I'll have to listen to the audio of Sean's show tonight.
I missed Rush today, too, so I figure I'll listen to him as well.
I'm thinking of taking a break from this I'm-in-limbo-again-work-to-get-work work and work on updating some Web pages instead tonight. ;)
(Let's see you use "work" in a sentence four times! LOL)

Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry runs past a woman as he heads toward a Vietnam-era Huey helicopter, at a Vietnam memorial as he stopped to greet supporters along route 61 in Grandview, Iowa August 4, 2004. Kerry was campaigning on the 'Believe in America' tour, a two week trip across the country that started in Boston Massachusetts following the Democratic National Convention.
It is vote for your favorite caption time!
You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around, that what it's all about! Kerry is good at turning himself around.
John Kerry stopped for a bit of Square dancing in Iowa just before he knocked that poor old lady on her ass.
I am John Kerry, and I am reporting that I should have a Purple Heart because I twisted my knee even as I was on the U. S, Senate payroll.
