Kerry Sticks Finger In Marine's Chest -- NOT! Here's the Proof

The question is: "Is Kerry sticking his bony, well-manicured, girly, index finger in the chest of the Marine pictured here?"

The answer is "No."

After optimizing the pic with Photoshop and Image Optimizer, what looks like Kerry's finger is actually the top piece of a wooden frame that holds a mirror and is attached to the window.

There is another mirror just like it behind the Marine, to the right of his elbow.

I disagree with this explanation. The perspective is all wrong. If the finger/frame were in the same plane as the window, it would be angled down toward the lower right- just as the frame of the window and the 'other mirror' are. Additionally, I see Botox's pinky, ring, and middle fingers curled toward the palm as one naturally would when pointing.

(But after taking the time to compose a nice post, I see that others have beat me to the point. So here's a curt post instead:) Nice try, but I'm not buying it.

BTW, the better explanation is that Kerry was actually pointing to the Marine's left(between the 2 Marines) at something out of the picture, rather than at him, and that the nature of photography creates an illusion(lack of 3-d).

Thanks. I never thought it was his finger. I knew it was in the background but hadn't identified what it was. Kerry's finger is not that long.

!. If that's not his finger, then where did his finger go?

2. The object is not parallel with the window or anything else in it.

3. Wendy's does not hang mirrors in its windows.

4. The finger clearly runs in front of the Marine, not behind him.

5. I also enlarged the picture. The length is correct and the knuckles are clearly visible.

Please, why is someone trying to make excuses for even this Kerry stupidity where there is clear photograph evidence.

If this was not satire, it was idiocy or a person dearly in need of Lasix surgery.

Even a former Navy man should know enough to not try to intimidate a leatherneck, when he is backed up by a group of his buddies.

Unless he is a Seal, E-7 or above (Tougher to get busted) and then the Seal would be looking for 8 to 10 Marines minimum so that the contest could be judged as fair. (Well at least in the eyes of the Judges), ask Marines what their record is with those odds, last group of bested Marines I spoke with were Honored that such fine Warriors are in their midst and on the same side.

You can plainly see his four fingers are bent back and his thumb at approx a 45 degree angle. Who really thought his index findex was that long?

Actually NOBODY can see four fingers bent back..There are only THREE. (count them)

Secondly, his index finger is NOT that long, but lines up with the bottom of Marine's left collar which makes it appear longer.
Look at the right collar and then the left collar and you will see that they line up. It is NOT that Kerry's finger is so long.

By the way I work as an inspector and I am a photo-editor so I can spot these things rather quickly.
