A good news bumparoo
Doing another happy dance.
Did you see on The Beltway Boys they had Kerry still leading in the electoral college? Based on what polls?
The Iowa market is a national-popular-vote contract. In 2000 people who bet on Al Gore on this market won their bets!
I could be wrong but I think the average American is offended that Kerrry made home movies in Vietnam and then shamelessly used them in that sleazy convention infomercial.
You know, nationwide, it's not too hard to gin-up 0.5 million votes via fraud...
I could be wrong but I think the average American wasn't watching.
True, but word of that kind of thing does get around.
In fact it is better that it be the subject of passing comments at water coolers and barber shops.
The offense is reinforced by a person's friends and family.
The same trend can be seen on TradeSports.com. Contracts for Bush went from about 49.2 at the beginning of the Democratic convention to 52.3 currently. This is astonishing, given that this was the week for the Demos to get a "bump".
Actually, I think the trend had very little to do with the convention. I think the Bush price started going up when the goofy picture of Kerry in the bunny suit was released. It's the equivalent of the Dukakis tank photo, and I think it will haunt Kerry the rest of the summer.
Or not count all the absentee ballots. I didn't know until 2000 that Oklahoma was one of the few states to require ALL ballots be counted even if the other person won the race without absentee ballots.
I did catch the part where they mentioned that Kerry voted against the 87b because Dean was getting all the antiwar votes during the primary, and Kerry wanted to show he was against it, too.
Nice, hmm? Let's deprive our brave men & women in uniform of needed resources so HE CAN GET A FEW MORE VOTES!!
That makes me sick!
Don't worry, there's plenty of garbage polls around that Rats can paint any picture they want. Of course, this effort at creating a self fulfilling prophecy is doomed to failure despite massive media manipulation to make it happen.
He's such a good and decent man. How can anybody hate him?
Only if the Bush campaign has the guts to use it against him. The Dukakis photo only became infamous after Lee Atwater started running TV ads with it asking the public, "Is this the guy you want commanding our troops?"
I assure, out here on the west coast, the hatred of Bush by a large plurality is blinding-white-hot. They would gladly pick up and follow even an Osama bin Laden if by doing so they could get Bush. Their blind hatred of him is so extreme. Out here, cars with Bush stickers on them park at their own risk. It is unfathomable, the depths of the depravity and hatred. But it is real.
Negabounce.
I contend that the bunny suit is not a DitTank photo. It looks silly, but Dukakis was trying to make a specific point about being strong on the military with a staged photo op and looked ridiculous.
"He's such a good and decent man. How can anybody hate him"?
They are E V I L ! ! !
