You know, I wondered about last night when the only one from the picture that appeared on stage was Skip Barber. Who were the others -- or more to the point, how did they actually know Kerry? Did they actually serve with him in some capacity, or have they met him later and just happened to be VietNam vets? Or maybe a hey pal, I'll give you a quick $1000 to stand on stage with me and pretend to like me??

I told hubby last night when they were introduced that I would bet the majority did NOT serve WITH him in Vietnam. I KNEW it. Thanks for the info!! And I was mostly joking about the pay, but it doesn't surprise me at ALL!!

The exercise, sponsored by U.S. Army Europe, involves more than 900 soldiers from the Illinois National Guard who are training on light infantry and urban warfare tactics with members of the Bulgarian military. The "Light Infantry" are the only known unit to bring their own rainbows with them for training purposes.
