BOSTON — The Kerry campaign smells a rat in the widely circulated snapshot that shows its man wrapped head-to-toe in a baby blue outfit.
"This was a leaked photo," Mary Beth Cahill (search), campaign manager for John Kerry, said an interview with FOX News on Tuesday.
No media photographers were in attendance Monday when Kerry toured a facility at the Kennedy Space Center with famed astronaut John Glenn and Sen. Bill Nelson of Florida. All the men wore anti-contamination suits (search).
Asked by FOX News' Brit Hume if a dirty trick was being played, Cahill didn't answer the question directly but said: "What do you think?"
"This was a legitimate tour of a NASA facility and this photograph came out of absolutely nowhere. We were surprised then. We aren't surprised now."

I'd like to see this photo and many of the others with him biking, para-surfing, etc. side-by-side with a list of votes and senate duties that he missed because he was too busy.

FOX NEWS is planning to air a redhot interview between Bill O'Reilly and boxoffice sensation Michael Moore on Tuesday.

O’Reilly: The issues… alright good, now, one of the issues is you because you’ve been calling Bush a liar on weapons of mass destruction, the senate intelligence committee, Lord Butler’s investigation in Britain, and now the 911 Commission have all come out and said there was no lying on the part of President Bush. Plus, Gladimir Putin has said his intelligence told Bush there were weapons of mass destruction. Wanna apologize to the president now or later?
M: He didn’t tell the truth, he said there were weapons of mass destruction.

My son-in-law works for NASA, and I have never been prouder of him...also, the satelitte he has been working on, the AURA, launched earlier this month! I say, bring on more funding!
Blaming NASA doesn't seem logical either.
Got to figure Florida voters & NASA are pretty tight. Got to figure that Sen. Dork Nelson and Sen. Glenn are loyal NASA guys.
What possible good comes from blaming NASA on leaking obviously posed pictures.
