Ginsberg: "Kerry Must Answer This ESSENTIAL Point Re: Sandy Berger"
My videotape of Fox Interview. ^ | 7-20-04 | Ben Ginsberg

Posted on 07/20/2004 9:06:44 AM PDT by Matchett-PI

The following excerpt was transcribed by me from my videotape of the 5 minute segment on Fox News Channel this morning entitled, "Bracing For Battle". The segment began at 9:44 AM and ended at 9:49 AM Eastern.

Guests: Richard Goodstein, Democrat strategist and former advisor to the 2000 Gore/Lieberman Campaign

Ben Ginsberg, Election law expert, and national counsel for the Bush/Cheney 2004 Campaign. (He was also counsel to Bush/Cheney during the 2000 election re-count)

Bottom line excerpt:

Ben Ginsberg: "The essential point is, did Sandy Berger, who is one of John Kerry's top advisors, get those documents - those classified documents that he was stuffing down his pants in the National Archives - to the Kerry Campaign for their benefit? And that's an essential question that needs to be answered by the Kerry Campaign. Did they benefit from documents and information they should not have had?"

"Could someone explain to me how these memos might have helped the Kerry campaign?"

Follow the lead of Ben Ginsberg -- he KNOWS what the *essential* questions are that Kerry must answer. Hahaha.

"How would that help Kerry? Inquiring minds need to know."

Actually, it's in Senator Kerry's ball-court to explain why he has hired an admitted thief of national security documents to be his national security advisor for his current Presidential campaign.

Maybe a twisted "October surprise." Kerry can accuse the administration of not taking the strategy outlined in the classified documents (without revealing he's seen them) and make it look like it's the steps he would have taken to prevent 9/11.

"How would that help Kerry? " Wasn't; isn't, Kerry on the National Security commitee? Also, would guess that Berger's action was as much to protect Clinton/Hillary as well; and of course, Berger's own behind.

"Inquiring minds need to know."

Ditto. I've been trying to find someone who can provide a MOTIVE for what Berger did; determining a motive - and what that motive happens to be - will be the key to whether this story gets "legs."

If the Millennium plot had been successful, clintbilly would have declared martial law; and he'd have been president for life.

Tim Russert: "Senator Kerry will you pardon Sandy Berger if you are elected in November?"

John Kerry:" Who's Sandy Berger?"

"How does that impact Kerry?"

Ginsberg is an election law expert. Trust me, he knows exactly what the *essential* questions to ask are over this Sandy Berger deal, and who it is that must answer them.

"I wonder if Kerry even knew if this investigation was going on. If he did he would have never put Berger on as an advisor.:"

Why is it, that this incident was not reported at the time; or at least immeidately prior to FBI doing it's 'file search' at Berger home.

Nothing else merits sacred secrecy from media. . .why this?

If the motive was to give ex-Clinton oficials a little better "spin" before the 9-11 Commission, I don't think this story will go very far; such a motive would only be played up by the press if the Bush administration did it. Then it would be big news. But if Berger were found to be acting on behalf of the Kerry campaign, I think it might be a different story. Then the press might go after it.

If Kerry is/was on the national security committee, and, these documents show that the Clinton Admin AND Kerry had advance warning of the attacks and did nothing... then BOTH Kerry and Clinton go down in flames.

Sandy Berger, who is one of John Kerry's top advisors

Sandy Berger was CLINTON's national security advisor and this pops up just before the DNC convention.

Wash post reporter was just on MSNBC , saying bloggers are spreading this "pants or socks" story. For crying out loud, it was in the AP story, of course we're talking about it. But she's acting like it's not true, something out of thin air in a 'partisan environment'.

Not likely. The Bush Admin never got the millennium plot docs, even though Clinton said he passed them on. Now, if Kerry suggests he would have taken steps to prevent 9-11 based on those documents, he admits to having prior knowledge- knowledge even the Bush Admin didn't have- thus, making him as culpable and responsible for 9-11 as Clinton.

Clearly Berger is hiding something, or has a sick and twisted fetish with classified documents and naked flesh.

How about the broad brush approach...
