The following excerpt was transcribed by me from my videotape of the 5 minute segment on Fox News Channel this morning entitled, "Bracing For Battle". The segment began at 9:44 AM and ended at 9:49 AM Eastern.
Guests: Richard Goodstein, Democrat strategist and former advisor to the 2000 Gore/Lieberman Campaign
Ben Ginsberg, Election law expert, and national counsel for the Bush/Cheney 2004 Campaign. (He was also counsel to Bush/Cheney during the 2000 election re-count)
Bottom line excerpt:
Ben Ginsberg: "The essential point is, did Sandy Berger, who is one of John Kerry's top advisors, get those documents - those classified documents that he was stuffing down his pants in the National Archives - to the Kerry Campaign for their benefit? And that's an essential question that needs to be answered by the Kerry Campaign. Did they benefit from documents and information they should not have had?"

And rightly so.
Thanks! BTTT!
I read Ginsberg and thought the same thing, LOL.
Could someone explain to me how these memos might have helped the Kerry campaign?
The missing pages are about the Millenium Terror plot, and my first thought was that they were just trying to hide the facts surrounding it (because Clinton and croonies certainly embellished their part in preventing terror).
How would that help Kerry?
Inquiring minds need to know.
if the kerry campaign is involved in a coverup of bergers pants will it be called weinergate...
t
>jibjab.com< try it it's funny
You are correct, we shouldn't be distracted from the key points of this story by more Clintonian BS.
The most important question is this: What did the missing documents say?
Everything else is designed to distract from that pertinent question.
I guess I'm dating myself, but I first thought of Alan or Ralph.
The docs were taken last October. How does that impact Kerry? Kerry does not seem to be able to plan ahead more than one photo-op at a time? I think this is pure CYA for Clinton. Berger would ONLY steal from a secure area under a dire threat: Exposure or Arkancide!
I watched this also
Carl Cameron is reporting the Kerry Camp has no comment regarding Sandy
You are right about the Millenium Terror thing. The only reason they caught Ressam was because an alert customs agent thought the guy looked suspicious (he was sweating profusly) and because Ressam gave two different answers to the same question just moments apart. It was blind luck, but Clinton used it as a prime (if not THE prime) example of his administrations' commitment to anti-terrorism.
We must make sure we don't allow the media to get away with headlines like, "Former CLINTON national security advisor, Sandy Berger...blah, blah, blah".
This ties in to the KERRY campaign. The headlines should read, "Sandy Berger, advisor to the 2004 Kerry Campaign.....", etc., etc.
BTTT
Not Moe?
The only thing about these documents that would help Kerry is to get Clinton and company off of his back.
I believe Kerry did not get these documents but it is guilt by association with Berger being an advisor to Kerry. The luck of Kerry.
I wonder if Kerry even knew if this investigation was going on. If he did he would have never put Berger on as an advisor.
Senator Lieberman offers that it probably was inadvertant?
One only has to read Berger's statement to see the lie being crafted for public consumption.
But one thing that cannot be disguised; 'he hid them in his pockets and his socks'; inadvertantly?
Threw them out accidentally?
Go after this Liberal trickster/traitor; for all it's worth.
