Notice Rockefeller said that "some said Iraq was an imminent threat."
The ONLY person who said that was John Edwards.

Let me guess he will say there is no evidence that Iraq aided Al Qaida?

What is going on? I just tuned in and it sounds like some kind of rebuttle to the report. Is that what it is? Political views?

Once again, the government investigates itself and finds itself blameless.

Sen Pat Roberts (R) read a list of examples of "exaggerated intelligence" that included items like "Iraq was developing UAVs".
huh? David Kay's report in Oct 2003 showed that Iraq WAS developing UAVs.

Let me ask you both this: all this information he is now trashing, didn't HIS committee have the same access as everbody he is now blaming?
Didn't Jay Rockefeller come out and give press conferences where he says that it was all very distrubing?

NOTE how many time they say "How the intelligence was USED"
My humble summary:
Roberts: The CIA is full of incompetency, inertia, miscommunication and institutional bias. More money and personnel will not fix this problem.Rockefeller: I'm saddened this report only addressed the CIA role in this matter. I want to blame the President for CIA fiasco; more importantly, I want to write a report blaming Bush for forcing the CIA to give us flawed intelligence.

Listening to this is making me ill. Months ago a memo was leaked to Sean Hannity outlining the use of this report to damage or destroy Bush. Stupid Republicans, will they never learn? I am SO tired of belonging to the stupid party!

I had no doubt when this started they would be nothing but hind-sighted, grandstanding dotes with personal and political agendas
in my opinion, they have just compromised our nation more than anything else ever has

President Bush better get off his buns and tear this nut (Robertson) and the report. Take off the gloves and hit this shit hard, or we will be living under Kerry and this country is lost.

I just heard them dismissing the discovered WMD as being irrelevant since they were left over from other wars. I guess that means old Sarin, VX, etc cannot harm you.

Rockerfeller: It's not political.
[Yet, he has made political statement after political statement aiming blame or at least a cloud at the administration.]

And remember: It was the Rockefeller clan who donated the land that the U.N. sits on, today. The U.N. also keeps it's accounts in Rockefeller-controlled banks. I disgusting and treasonous family, IMO.

Rockefeller makes we want to spit. I have been listening to this. The war in Iraq was not legit, lives were wasted, I would never have voted for it, blah, blah. He is really out to get Cheney. It won't work.
