Worked the Edina [MN] 4th of July Parade for Bush today and one Edina volunteer brought her beautiful golden retriever festooned with Bush placards. No sooner did the parade start than the dog was firmly kicked by a Kerry supporter. I kid you not a woman kicked our George Bush mascot dog. When asked “Did you just kick my dog?” the woman relied “Yes, I did! Get the hell out of here and get George Bush the hell out of here too!” Nice. Probably a member of PETA ironically enough.
On the one hand, it's just pathetic; kicking a dog.

The democRAT headquarters here has a sign out front that reads "the party that cares." I don't know whether to barf, chuckle or sneak down there some night and complete the phrase to reflect truth in advertising..."about power, control, perversion and godlessness.".
I have 2 dogs - first, the assaulted dog would kick the liberal's ass. Then my other dog would. Then I would. That subhuman would be picking Kerry 2004 placard splinters out their hiney for a month.

I hear crap like this and just general Bush hating rhetoric, all the time. The idiot sheeple are sadly swallowing what the democRATs are dishing up and going back for more. And as long as they keep buying it, the RATs will keep selling itl. If it weren't for stupid people, the RATs wouldn't have a party, and unfortunately, there is no shortage of stupid people. I've even heard Republicans say they're voting for all Republicans except Bush. I don't get it. Are people really that stupid? Never mind. I already know the answer.
Even the well-heeled Dems from the genteel zip codes (Edina's a posh suburb) can't hide their animalistic animosity toward Bush.
Sometimes when I'm around people whose political leanings I'm not really aware of, I make a few preemptive comments of my own.
Too bad the woman didn't have a donkey. Someone could have kicked her ass.

The woman could not sue for damages either if the dog bit her ass. She provoked the dog to bite by kicking the dogs ribs. Self-defense. Dogs have rights too.
I doubt she would have kicked the dog if it was a pitbull. :)
Well, in the courts of human law, they don't - they are considered property, and offenses against them are actually offenses against the owner or the state. This in no way changes my course of action, just the language I use to justify it. ("Your Honor, when the scumbag - ah, perp - attacked my dog I was put in fear for my life.").
As far as other Law goes, I have no question that my actions would be (at worst) forgiveable before the only Judge that ultimately matters. The G-d I worship is a dog lover.
