A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PRESIDENT BUSH (photos) 7.5.2004
Yahoo,whitehouse.gov | 7.5.2004 | TruthNtegrity

Posted on 07/05/2004 8:15:47 AM PDT by TruthNtegrity

The President flew from Camp David, using the Hagerstown, MD airport, to Charleston, WV, but not before he and accompanying staff and Cabinet members had to change jets. AF1 had a faulty engine and another jet had to be flown from Andrews AFB for the President and his entourage to use.

The President missed a Church service that he had planned on attending in WV, but said that he didn't miss it because of the sermon but because of a faulty engine and necessary jet change.

He spoke to an enthusiastic crowd in Charleston, where applause interrupted his speech after just about every sentence. In the pictures, notice the number of American flags - it seemed that everyone had one.

I don't expect them to get down in the gutter, but they won't have to. The dems--any of them--have given them enough ammunition. All the Bush team has to do is play back some of the idiotic/unpatriotic/flip-flop/just plain stupid things they've said.

I totally agree

The guys were both pretty excited to meet the VP. It was a good day!

(Our older son is interested in diplomacy, international relations and foreign service, so it was a good experience for him too).

Just got our INTERNET hookups today after moving almost 2 weeks ago. It has been difficult to not be able to be here! This small mountain town I live in now does not get in a hurry to do anything!! So much to adjust to, but the beauty and peaceful surroundings are worth it! I had to get Satellite radio and TV as nothing else can penetrate the mountains! How I have missed the dose! Thanks for posting it!

You are correct, the green shirt is really nice. But...
I still like blue the best. As you say, the difference in the fit is probably due to the protection he wears. I am not a fan of green in general [in clothing, on people] with the exception of lovely green grass in the yard.

Your taste is wonderful but I still like blue best. Thanks for showing us what you meant, the visual is very much appreciated.

Those are great pictures!! I'd love to see the President or Veep in person! I attended a Republican Women's luncheon in S. Mississippi once when GHWB was in the WH. Veep Dan Quayle spoke, but he wasn't very exciting.

Gosh, thanks for the birthday wish!! I haven't been on the Dose much lately. We've been planning a remodel of our home, and WE'RE doing all the work, so I've been up to my eyeballs in CAD drawings! LOL!

Oh, Ohio! You got to meet our V.P. and his wife! How wonderful! And the pictures you took are GREAT! Needless to say, I'm feelin' a tad jealous!

I'm so happy you got to meet them! :^D
