OPERATION BIAS CHECK -- The NYC chapter of ProtestWarrior decided to send the mainstream media a message. In true ProtestWarrior style, they crashed the June 29th "Today Show" - and while Matt Lauer charmed the crowd with his musings on the new Spiderman release, the NYC chapter's message came out loud and clear. That jusy made my month - thanks you guys. I was flipping thru the channels the other nite and came across Campbell Brown subbing for li'l missy matthews on Hardball. She was interviewing Weasly Clark and, one camera shot got her twisting in her chair like a little school girl interviewing the high school quarterback. One other shot caught one of her earrings falling off her head and clunking down on the table as she shook her head from side to side for effect, setting up a bash Bush softball for ol' Weasley. It was hilarious, now this. She's gotta be pretty pissed and, I love it.
The video is absolutely hilarious, the slow raising of the sign was a great maneuver, very eye-catching.

GLA, thanks for the insight. I'm sure the director was whispering in Metro Matt's ear 'cause he turned around to try to see the sign. They had to be pissed as they conducted most of the interview in tight instead of showing the cute kids' reaction.
DC Chapter - PWs strike again. Oh to be young and wild.
I got the impression from watching the video that the camera-person may have been aiding and abetting. It seemed like the camera-person sort of did a slow zoom toward the signs. After all, the camera-person could have cut the cam and moved Campbell and Matt to some other background---but the camera-person didn't.

Pictures are great, but the video really is magnificent. The movement of the sign at opportune times was priceless. You guys are amazing.
