The Left will never admit they are wrong. They hate the United States as much as the Islamofreaks do. They are brothers and sisters in a very similar cause. However, if they ever succeed in taking down this country, then they will turn on each other.
I don't know. News reports say Johnson was going to convert to Islam. He already is reported to have "hated" US policies and politics and dressed like an Arab. There is a lesson here. All those people out there who think that if they just hate enough Jews, despise their own country, and become an Islamophile that they'll be safe, well, those people just found out that Arabs don't give spit about them. Arabs have turned this into a race war. They are targeting white, American males--even ones sympathetic to Islam, hating Israel, and despising their own culture.

The confirmation to me that he was already dead is the one brief video they have of him in a red jumpsuit...like Nick Berg. Evidently, this is the garb worn by prisoners who have been sentenced to death over there. I agree with the speculation that he was executed days ago so that they could disperse and not be caught when the "deadline" expired and the web pix were posted.

On Tuesday, gunmen killed Robert C. Jacobs, 62, of Murphysboro, Ill., an employee of defense contractor Vinnell Corp., after following him to his home in Riyadh. On Saturday, an Islamic Web site posted video footage purporting to show that killing. The video shows a man who appears to be a Westerner fall to the ground in front of a garage as two men holding guns run toward him, the Reuters news agency said.
"The murder of the Jewish American Robert Jacob, who worked for the Vinnell espionage firm," a statement announcing the video on the Web site says.
They shot him as he ran for his life, then shot him after he fell - total 9 times in the head.
With all due respects and heartfelt sympathy to all the families, I make the following observations:

Paul Johnson had lived in SA for years and loved it there....and these vermin still killed him! To me, this shows lack of moral conscience as well as lack of human dignity.
Time to get Mossad, Interpol or whomever involved if the US can't seem to handle it or does not have the cahones to deal with it.
For those of you who don't know it. Paul Johnson is a Pershing alumni.
During the Pershing II Engineering Development Phase he was a systems engineer in the Pershing Systems Test Lab. After that he moved to the Launch Test Operations Team and worked in the big white telemetry van some of you saw on the test launches. You probably ran into him and didn't even realize it. It was the one we affectionately called the PISS Van (Pershing Instrumentation Support System). He stayed in that assignment until the INF treaty forced him to move. He went to TADS/PNVS support and on to Saudi Arabia. I think this was about 92 that I talked to him and he was going over there. He said at that time it was a position he was taking until better assignments opened up. As you can imagine jobs were very tight in defense then. I had no idea he was still over there.
I worked with him side by side for many years. Been fishing with him, dined with him and of course hoisted a few at times. He is a fine person. Good hearted and caring. He is the type who would do anything for a friend. He certainly doesn't deserve what he is going through right now. Hopefully his fun loving personality will make these cowards realize that he is not a threat to them and he will come back safely.
Let's all hope and pray that one of our own can come home safely.
