DC Chapter has just begun a STEALTH, NO advance notice, FReep of the Code Pink and other leftists who are at Rumsfeld's house in Northwest DC to re-enact "torture" of Iraqi prisoners. Some stalwart members of the DC Chapter have gathered peacefully to counter the leftists.
Watch this space for reports from the scene.
What a wonderful FReep. I'll keep an eye open for pictures and reports. This is way cool guys!
Thank you DC Chapter.
Thanks to you and your friend for your service in Iraq. The DC Chapter members always found that the Secret Service and other law enforcement personnel were professional and sympathetic to our cause. I am very happy to hear that they treated you with the respect you deserve and gave you a special White House Tour. Thank you.
What a wonderful FReep. I'll keep an eye open for pictures and reports. This is way cool guys!
Hey Blue, they have all the fun (not really, we have fun, just on a smaller scale. lol)
I was stunned by their positibe attitudes on what we are accomplishing over there. It is really different when you hear it direct instead of this shit TV coverage we get.
Tell you what, when me and my family heard the truth, there wasn't a dry eye in the car all the way back to Pennsylvania.
Just Love you people fighting for us.
Hey, look at this Freep. It may be small, but WE ARE TRYING.
The truth cant be knocked down forever. With over 200,000 plus troops having served in Iraq and rarely any of them speaking negatively about there experiance, the word of mouth and the small town interviews will work better than the left can imagine.
You got that right. We may be small, but as Zip says, "It's quality over quantity." Right Zip? We certainly do try hard.
Oh; he'll find out about it sure enough, newspapers or not.
You betcha he will!
And he strikes me as being the sort of man who will remember who his friends are, too.
And although I doubt that he has the time to peruse this site personally, I would not be at all surprised if someone rather familiar with him does - and I hope that they know beyond a shadow of a doubt that for every true and courageous Member of the DC Chapter who did their patriotic duty tonight at the Secretary's quarters, each one was representing the impassioned sentiments of THOUSANDS of fellow FReepers all over the civilized world - as well as a good bunch serving over where "civilization" is a work still very much in progress.
Kudos to the DC Crew; ya done us proud!
Great story!
Thanks you and your friend (and all the rest of you) for your service for our country.
God bless you all.
Here is the clincher. He just re-upped for another year saying, "I still have work to do.".
Be assured, most here at FreeRepublic feel the same. We still have work to do. Tonights efforts might be a little nitch, but those Freepers in DC are doing it.
Chip, chip, chip, a little at a time against these commie bastards.
Great posts! Thank you for all you've done for all of us.
The next several months are going to be tough. Freepers are just gonna have to do more of this kind of stuff.
Will travel, I ain't takin' it anymore.
Jim, lets start thinking about having a major Ralley in DC BEFORE the election.
Blessings to you one and all. I smiled for the first time today.
Because the socialists want it that way! They are projecting again, as usual.
Thank you for your service and I hope you have recovered fully from any wounds that had you at Walter Reed.
I'm sorry that anyone yelled anything at you.
We've fought the Leftist's so hard - to let the troops know that we support them and that the WE is 99% of Americans.
TNT
We have been and will continue to support you and all of our troops for the fantastic job being done. Thank you so much for your service. I will contunue to FReep the leftists every chance I get. This is a battle we are in for the future of our country and I am proud to do my part.
DC FReepers, you all are wonderful and an inspiration. Keep up the good work. Now where are the pictures?
All the Best,
I join in the 'thanks, aft_lizard. The Secret Service has to listen to that crap from the Pink ones for hours on end. They must have been over-joyed to have seen you and to be able to show their thanks. Having that special tour will always be something for you to to cherish, for years.
Thanks for being the 'anchor' StayAt! "They also serve who only stand and wait!" Whoever wrote that was right on!
Every time.
